A-Team-Booked For Life (REPORTING Only, Fool!)
Life 2Get a Divorce:
5 – read a book that takes place in a war/civil conflict
The Book Thief Finished: 6/9
I've finished Better Read Than Dead for Turn 16 - read a book with a party. That was my last assigned task. I'm ready to read more, but perhaps someone could tell me which spots need to be filled in the most. Takes place at the beach or mountain, maybe? I have ideas for all the categories except unemployed.

Completed Navigating Early for 'Get Remarried: someone makes a fresh start'.I can start on another if there's a task we need help on. I have technology training all week, but it's easy to bust out a book when things get boring or in between sessions!

Almeta, thanks for the fab emoticons! So cute! Sorry about jury duty, but I would want you on my jury if I were the attorney. Smart cookie. : )
Aw, Almeta, did you get picked? That's a bummer, but I agree with Connie, you'd be a good juror. *calls up my memory of the emoticon judge lol*
Laura is letting me read one of her assigned tasks: College - read a book with drinking in it. I'll be reading The Rake.
I just finished Ender's Game for Graduation: Did you have a job, or fear for your future? 3 points – read a dystopian/apocalyptic book.

Hi Esther - I noticed my first two books were moved to the second life, so I checked the spreadsheet. It looks good except I'm getting credit for The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake for the second life. Not sure who read that one but it wasn't me. Thanks for all your hard work!
Okay, so I have finished both The Undomestic Goddess and Go to Sleep (both are currently in the second life in the spreadsheet, although the latter one was originally in the third life). I will start both with Escape from Camp 14: One Man's Remarkable Odyssey from North Korea to Freedom in the West for the foreign country task and Cum Laude for the college task in Life #4.
DoneThe Headmaster's Wife by Thomas Christopher Greene
for Get Married: read a book with main character who is married the entire book 3 pts.
Starting Atonement for Get Married: wedding 5 pts
I am ready to dive right in! : )I have been really lucky with my books; only one that was not a great read.
Laura wrote: "Camilla, how many seconds did it take you to finish that Kinsella book?! O_O"LOL, probably something like three to four hours, as I said it was a really quick read! I read about 160 pages yesterday evening and the rest today.
Y'all are crazy. I realize it's a light read but I don't think I could ever read a 350pp book in 3-4 hours. How do you guys do it?!
I don't know how I do it... My normal reading pace is about 60 pages/hour if the text is more difficult (lots of difficult words in English - since English is not my first language - or just a "slow read") or about 100 pages/hour for an easy text like The Undomestic Goddess, which has a lot of dialogue and thus short sentences, or if it's in Finnish.

I have read all the Shopaholic books and liked them quite lot, so I'm hoping this will be at least half as entertaining. Don't worry, although it has a fair amount of pages, I think it will be a quick read!
