Hope you enjoy your books this month, Lieke.

Lieke | 1723 comments I finished my first book of the month Dead to the World by Charlaine Harris. I liked this book better then book 3 I think because I don't like Bill and he was out of the country for most of the book.

Veronica (readingonthefly) | 1631 comments Haha, I always liked Bill being out of the country too. :-)

Who is your favorite character?

Lieke | 1723 comments I finished rereading De Vlucht by Megan Lindholm, first book in the Windsingers series. Now I'm ready to read the other books in this series, I had read the first book before 2011.

Lieke | 1723 comments I finished The Burning Page by Genevieve Cogman this morning. And I liked the book a lot.
I don't want to say to much since it is the third book in the series and people might not have read the first two books. But we have a few characters from other books coming back and some hints for things still to come in the next books.
I'm now up to date in the series but since the next book should be released in december I'm not counting it for my challenge.

Lieke | 1723 comments I read The Magicians of Caprona by Diana Wynne Jones, this was my favorite in the series. I don't have the next books in the series, and I'm not sure yet if I want to continue the series. Maybe If I can get the next books cheap I will, but probably not sometime soon.

Yesterday I finished Fairest by Marissa Meyer, it was ok but until now my least favorite book in the series.

Lieke | 1723 comments I read the last page of The Farseekers by Isobelle Carmody this morning, this is the 2nd book in the Obernewtyn Chronicles. I enjoyed this book a lot, and very curious what will happen next. I'm glad I own the next two books in the series, but I think I have to start looking for the rest of the series :)

Lieke | 1723 comments I read Een miljoen zeilen by Tais Teng, the 2nd book in a dutch series.
It has great parts but sometimes it is all over the place.

Today I read Cracked Up to Be by Courtney Summers. It was good but I liked the other book I read by her better.

Lieke | 1723 comments I didn't read a lot during my holiday but I finished En man som heter Ove I loved the book. I had tears in my eyes multiple times. What a great grumpy old man and also the other characters where good.

Unfortunately I didn't like my next book a lot: The Woman Who Went to Bed for a Year. I did finish it quick because I could read a lot during the travel back home.
