ABANDONED. Hardy Boys Book, part of the original series, can only remember one scene

I've only read the original Hardy Boys books, so it would be one of those. I read it about 10 years ago, more or less. I can't remember what the mystery was. All I can recall is that the boys were at a shooting range, maybe for a contest, and they were knocked out. When they woke up, they were in the wall behind the targets for the shooting range. Right before they got shot at, they made enough noise to get the attention of the people shooting and got out.

There are different editions of each book...do you know if you read one from pre-1960 or from the 60s on?

I'm not sure, but this sounds like it could have been from one of the books where the boys go out west. Maybe between #27 - #33?

My (wild!) guess is The Criss-Cross Shadow or or The Yellow Feather Mystery.
