Ok. Confession time. I've NEVER read any CoHo. *blushes* Better get on that, right?

Just sent it back, Robin, but I'll save you the trouble of reading it. You were correct--they were all ERRORS!

Oy. I was hoping I was wrong.
Jan, what's really cool is that Slammed & Its Ends With Us are so completely different...all that they have in common is that they are fabulous. They also happen to be my personal two Coho faves!

"Heck yes!! *grabs popcorn*
Leslie wrote: "Jan, what's really cool is that Slammed & Its Ends With Us are so completely different...all that they have in common is that they are fabulous. They also happen to be my personal two Coho faves!"Yeah they're both on my tbr pile. I'll get there eventually......
Ok, I'm doubled fisted right now with this challenge. I just discovered that
audio is free with KU!!! Thats my pick for Tessa. So I'm listening to that one & reading Robin's
(which I am loving as much as Rush)

I had to edit my post when I realized that the first two people on the list didn't get copied/pasted from my computer doc. :/ I figured it out when Etched in Bone wasn't on there, and I finally own it so I can read it.
Yippee! My first book was a hit!!! Robin's fave
- 4.5 stars. I loved both the MC's and it was a big ole swoonfest. The only thing I knew about this going in was (view spoiler) I also really loved (view spoiler) This is CR perfection for me. (Although I think I still like Rush a smidge better. I love grumpy heros)["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

Such a refreshing change from angry, angst-filled romance books. It was sweet and beautiful, heart-warming, and heart-aching! And I agree, I prefer my Noah from Rush, but just because I love a grumpy asshole bestest!!!
Lisa, what I loved was that although it was heart aching in some parts it was not overly depressing or ugly cry inducing. It made me teary but not wanting to hurl myself off cliff.
Yay Leslie!!! OMG I can't wait for you to read Sugar & Gold then! I think you guys are gonna looooove Nik!
Robin wrote: "Yay Leslie!!! OMG I can't wait for you to read Sugar & Gold then! I think you guys are gonna looooove Nik!"Robin, you know I love you, right? But I actually want to poke your eyes out because you are getting a preview of Sugar & Gold. I am so excited about that one - kissing a stranger in the rain???? Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

That may be one of my favorite scenes in all of her books! But the one that comes right after?? My first thought was "who are you and what did you do with Emma Scott?" Let's just say my laptop started smoking.
I don't have an ARC, I have a beta that I get in chapters, sometimes the same chapter multiple times. I LOVE getting to watch her process, but I'm jealous that you get to read it cover to cover in its final form!! Still, I wouldn't trade the experience. I miss "reading" her books, but as a wannabe writer, I feel like I'm being trained by the best, and nothing beats that.

I totally get that...there is something to be said about being able to read from cover to cover. I helped a friend with a book and it was the same way, chapter by chapter, sometimes over and over again...so by the time the book was published I was tired of it already!

It's definitely a trade off, but a good one. I just keep holding out hope the FDA will release that amnesia pill they have for public consumption. Then I can do both!
Another book-win! Yippee!!!Tessa, I loved Off the Record
I can't wait to finish series and see how it all pans out.

*squeee* I'm glad you liked it. I absolutely loved the whole series.
Lisa wrote: "I am going to read Hausfrau, which was a 5 star pick off of Robin's list this month!! Wheeeeeee"Very curious what you think! I'm reading super slow right now...
I AM ABSOLUTELY LOVING THE COURT OF ROSES SERIES AND WHO IN THE ACTUAL FUCK DECIDED IT WAS YA??? IS COCK A YA WORD?
Tessa wrote: "YEAH! I'm glad you're loving it. As for who thought it was YA... no clue. lol"I totally get it now (view spoiler)
What the... So it thinks you are into really 60 year old men from the seventies? With um, sorry. Look at his crotch area. WTF?
*snorts* That cover is outstanding. Hilarious. At least the daily GR recs keep us entertained. And it's a bit scary to think that the fashionable man once dressed like that. *shudders*
What to read? What to read? Finished Consequences and read a little "fluffy" predictable book, think I am going to give
- Grey's 5* on my list
I am hoping to get to a few off my list this month. On the schedule is:
Grey's - The King
Michelle's - After Hours
I think I am in a reading funk. The last 3 books I tried are not holding my interest. Michelle, I think I am going to switch my pick for you as I cant get into
. Part of problem is narration is kind of sucky. :(Perhaps:

This is why you should try The Bird and the Sword! And then you can join in on The Queen and the Cure
Oh yes - Bird and Sword was amazing writing, great story...and Queen and Cure is just as flipping fantastic!!!
Leslie--I agree. You should really give The Bird and the Sword and the The Queen and the Cure (which I loved even more!) a try!Just wanted to do an update on what I've read from my Leslie's Book Buddy Challenge List. So far, I've completed:
Amy's
Maryse's
Tessa's
and I've read about 15% of
Ela's
I better get on the stick! Have lots left to read and I just noticed that Easy Virtue is on my list.
I love all these different challenges! It takes the stress out of what to read next. Even if book doesnt turn out to be a 5 star, its ok because it just reduces the tbr mountain.
I'm loving this Georgia Cates book, and the bad boy mafia hero, Sin, is SO sexy! I don't know why I waited so long to read it because I enjoyed the books I read from her Beauty series. Her writing is both smart and sexy, and her books are well edited, so that's a huge bonus for me.Leslie--that's so true!

I'm going to email you these just to double check I'm not crazy! And I do see the stupid gerunds. Forgot about those. There were a lot of sentences that started with them in this book, but I didn't notice any dangling ones.
