A Good Goodreads review or a movie: which one will make you read the book?

Are you more likely to actually read a book if you like a movie about it or see a good Goodreads review?

A movie would be more convincing, still better - a recommendation from someone, whose reading taste I trust..

Occasionally, a movie may inspire me to read the book upon which it was based, but not often. Since all consumer ratings and reviews are personal opinions and, therefore, highly subjective, I seldom, if ever, read them and never base my reading choices on a consumer rating or review.
