Glad you liked it, Mindy! Courtney Milan has become one of my favorite historical authors over the last year or so...I love her books!

Alexa (psreadthisbook) | 313 comments Hello Pamela, I have finished 2 more recommendations. Both were enjoyed and rated 4 stars each! I don't know if I will have time for more this month, but I'm hoping so. I still have a few I want to read if possible.

Bittersweet (True North, #1) by Sarina Bowen 4/5 stars - loved this one. I like that Sarina's characters aren't afraid to commit to a relationship, she has a main problem that is outside of the relationship. That isn't the norm in romance novels and I enjoy it.

Ash (Hive Trilogy, #1) by Jaymin Eve 4/5 stars - I enjoyed this one. Lots of action that kept me reading. It was a lot of fun. I'd never heard of this trilogy before, so thank you for introducing it to me!

Already reviewed:
Him (Him #1) by Sarina Bowen 5/5 stars
Till Death by Jennifer L. Armentrout 3/5 stars
The Hooker and the Hermit (Rugby, #1) by L.H. Cosway 2/5 stars

~KarenH~ | 11344 comments Hey Kait!

I read several of your picks this month, and all were either 4 or 5 star reads:

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince 4/2/17 ★★★★★
When the Duke Returns 4/3/17 ★★★★
I Want to Hold Your Hand 4/7/17 ★★★★
The Only One 4/9/17 ★★★★

Also, there was one that I forgot to remove from my preferred shelf, so was actually reading it when the picks were made...another great one!

What it Takes 3/25/17 ★★★★★

If I can get through my challenge books with time left over at the end of the month I might squeeze in one more, but realistically I think I'm probably done...thanks for all the wonderful picks!

Hahaha. I do that too (where I put books in my TBR but then I'm hesitant to read). I kind of rely on these PIFM challenges to get that little push I need to read them.

Exactly! Most of the books on my PIFM list are ones I've owned forever and haven't read. It definitely gives me a little push to get those books read.

message 169: by Nancy H (new)

Nancy H | 1111 comments Hi Danielle Gypsy Soul,
I finished #3 for the month - Crooked Heart Crooked Heart by Cristina Sumners , and it was EXCELLENT! It involves an affair between neighbors, a murder, a disappearance, sparks between a policeman and an Episcopal priest, and many twists and turns along the way, plus a surprise ending.

I am reading two more really good ones from your list, and I hope to finish them by the end of the month. If not, they will just be finished in May - lol. Thanks for the great picks!

Grrr!! I was so hoping to fit a bunch of your recommendations in and I think I'm rounding out the month with only having read one :( (I have a recent addiction to team challenges in another group and am still learning reading time management with them).
It was one I knew I wasn't going to love but I realllllly appreciate the push to read it. I read Never Judge a Lady by Her Cover and gave it three stars. I hate miscommunication story lines which was the basis for this one so I'm actually really happy with the 3 star rating.
Thank you SO much for all of your picks for me. I've jotted them all down and will definitely make time to read them as soon as I can!

No worries, Kait! I tend to agrre with you on the miscommunication story lines. I love the series, but don't think that one was as strong as the other three were. Anyway, glad you finished the series and hope you get a chance to read others later on. Lmk how they are!

Not your fault - you didn't write it. Besides, I didn't have high expectations for the book, so it wasn't a big letdown. :)
