Bad, bad, really bad. But, I know why he did it and can't fault him for needing to get as much information from Abbie as he could. He could have started with more truth and less deception. I think she would have helped him.
Sam believed that Abbie was in just as deep as Cory. He needed to get to know her somehow and get some information out of her. I think he did just exactly what he needed to do. I'm just surprised that he slept with her. I guess he couldn't help himself.
I understood him establishing a phony relationship to get info. It's when he slept with her that I jumped ship. It was incredibly cruel.
I thought his wining and dining her was necessary for the op. Sleeping with her was just a natural progression after 4 dates. I don't think he really planned it going that far. I give him a pass.
At this point his main goal was to get more info on Nader, and he had his sister's death on his conscience. He thought Abbie and Cory were both guilty so whatever he had to do, he will. I wasn't angry with him but wasn't impressed either.
By the time he slept with her, Sam was already questioning his belief that she was involved and was starting to have feelings for her. That's why I thought his behavior was cruel. He pretty much knew her heart and that's why he felt like a schmuck.
