40% in/chapter 'Then: Thursday, 22nd December 2016 – Evening' (view spoiler)[this is one entertaining read - I really didn't see it coming that her parents are dead...but did Amber imagine her sister, Claire, talking to them then, too? That confuses me a bit. Paul's behaviour also is a very clean sign of his affair. He's such an ass, really. And the conversation between Paul and Claire about "the baby"? Did he get Amber's sister pregnant?

I'll be real disappointed if it was Paul or Claire just because of the affair. That would be a bummer and really lame. (hide spoiler)]

But why the hell did Claire tell Edward that it was Amber blackmailing him? My goodness. She seems to be really awful. And why did she think thst it was her decision to make if/when Amber and Edward broke it off? Also, is she(Claire)adopted now? Or not? (hide spoiler)]

Amber has some skeletons in her closet. #1 She pushed her mother down the stairs causing her to miscarry #2 She went on a date with Edward, who's also the guy trying to kill her (no idea why) #3 She's sabotaging her colleague's career. She can't fully be trusted

The diary entries during her childhood kind of scare me. I wonder what happened between her and her friend Taylor

Also, the reveal that her parents are actually dead was a surprise to me. Kinda liked that twist.

I think they are trying to make Paul the bad guy, but I think Amber is going to end up being the real villain here (hide spoiler)]

I knew that Paul wasn't having an affair. He was secretly meeting with his agent to tie up a book deal. Amber started this whole fling with Edward for no reason basically.

Edward is a bad dude. I'm thinking he's the one behind the accident. Although Amber keeps getting the idea that this was no "accident" and somehow self inflicted. I wonder if Amber will wake up in time (hide spoiler)]

I was surprised that it was Claire behind the accident, I thought it was Edward. Although I think it was actually an accident.

Edward is a sicko. Totally obsessed with Amber still and the assault scene was so disturbing to read

And then for revenge, Amber kills Claire and takes her life. Like what? They were both mentally disturbed people. (hide spoiler)]

from the beginning we are forced to dislike paul..but nw i like him he is the only true character in the story..

i enjoyed reading this..but i think the plot is somewht familiar to the book memory box by Eva Lesko Natiello, eventhough they are real twins in the book
