Roblin looked around, tossing his bag in a corner.

"Hey! You'll mess up my neatness organizing system!" Madeline said, moving Roblin's bag to under her table.
Roblin rolled his eyes. "I had no idea you were such a neat freak. How did you survive in my sorry excuse for a lab?" He said, tempted to knock something over just to see how she would react. On second thought, that might be a bad idea. He vowed not to mess with her OCD system.
If he provokes my brutal side, I will seriously kill him. Madeline unconsciously thought. "I survived because it was your lab and I didn't want to slow down our working process."((My bad ...))
"You daft?" Madeline asked. She pulled open her cabinet drawers and the lower cabinet storage. They were filled with glowing jars, sorts of microscopes, magnifying gear, jars, and bottles.
"Right," Roblin said slowly. "So, do you have a cauldron?" He peeked under the desk, hoping she had more cool collections. He realised it looked like he was snooping and he turned away. Pawing through his backpack, he looked for his notebook, strewing papers all over the floor.
Roblin found his notebook and smirked. He stood up, already forgetting about the papers he was crumpling underfoot. Blowing his bangs out of his face, he examined her collection of ingredients.
Roblin squeaked, spinning around. "Stars, Madeline!" He shook it off, crouching next to it. "Geez, have you ever used this thing? It looks brand new."
"I haven't used it in a while, and mother and father insist on keeping it squeaky clean." Madeline said, walking down and rolling her eyes.
Roblin leaned over the rim of the cauldron, comparing the diameter to his measurements. "Yours is bigger than mine, so we'll have to double our measurements."
"Yeah." She reached in her boot and pulled out a small blue key, rolling it into the locked drawer. She pulled it open, and there were at least a hundred jars of different glowing colours.
Roblin moved away from the cauldron, dropping his notebook and letting it collect with the pages on the floor. He peered over the rim of the drawers, gingerly picking up a jar. A small jet of electric blue light was ricocheting off the glass walls, vibrating in Roblin's hand.
Roblin jumped, then quickly put the jar back among the others. He stepped away, hands deep in his pockets. "Sorry."
Roblin bit his lip, clearing his throat. "So, which star?" He asked. "I mean, you are the expert." He wiggled his eyebrows at her.
"I was thinking...." Madeline was thinking more about colours. Amaranthis' purple light was beautiful, but Indigeen's dark blue was enigmatic, just like her personality to most people. But she loved watching sunsets, and Cobretola's deep orange glow....
Roblin snapped his fingers in front of Madeline. "Hello? Anyone home?" He looked a little nervous. "Maddy? Did you hear me?"
"Right. I'm making a hard choice between Amaranthis, Indigeen and Cobretola." Madeline said, focusing hard on Roblin's nose and dazing out.
"Continue. Whatever," He resisted the urge to pick up more of the contained stars. From where he was standing, he could see an orange one that looked really cool.
"You seem to have eyes for Cobretola." Madeline pointed out, turning to see what Roblin was looking at. "It's one of my favorites too."
Madeline looked away, face light pink as well. "So, you want to use it?" She asked, pulling the jar out of her cabinet.
