SOLVED. Book that was also a movie.."Up close and Personal". [s]

I saw the movie Up Close and personal which starred Michelle Pfeifer and Robert Redford and was loosely based on the life of Newscaster Jessica Savitch.

I maybe wrong on this but I thought this was also a book and I sort of remember reading it.Yet there does not seem to be much about it online. I am wondering if the book was called something else or maybe I just read a book very similiar to the film. Does anyone else recall the movie and know if there was also a book?
