Who loves a Wrinkle in Time! What are your thoughts on time travel? Let's discuss it because it's one of my favorite series ever.

Arbaaz Khan (arbaazkhan1999) | 143 comments I only read a wrinkle in time and i guess it was okay

Madi I love it! What do you want to discuss about it?

Do you think time travel could happen? Do you want it to happen? What theories have you heard/come up with about time travel?

Have you read the third Harry Potter book? It has the idea of time loops in it. How does that relate to what other people think or what Madeline L'Engle thinks?

I believe it as a theory, that it is happening but we shouldn't try to figure it out. I really like the theory if you go back and kill your grandfather, then you die so you can't kill him. Apparently most scientists agree that if you killed your grandfather, you'd stop existing after the point you kill him(commit suicide by killing your grandfather in the past).

So, what do you guys think?

Arbaaz Khan (arbaazkhan1999) | 143 comments And as you said about harry potter, there is also a qoute in the fifth book that if you think that much you would explode, i wonder how you got the power to think that much larkin ;-)

Sorry if i said something wrong, i am just kidding.

Madi I think time travel is possible. I think I read somewhere that you can only travel to the past.

Yeah, which means that if it has been figured out, there might be someone from the future hear(mind blown)! In a Wrinkle in Time(I think this is where they describe it), someone explains time like a watch. On this persons watch are diamonds for each hour. The idea is that every diamond is a moment and the moments are just continuing over and over again. You keep going but could theoretically go back and visit one of those moments. I really like that theory.

Madi Me too! I think that is from When You Reach Me, the other greatest book in the world. I think that is like what they say on Phineas and Ferb: 2nd dimension about dimensions. It is basically the same idea.

You're right, it is from When You Reach Me(best book!), I couldn't remember.

Madi With reading so many books, it is hard to keep them straight sometimes. :)
