Which part of Wales? I lived in Harlech briefly, and my WIP is set in Snowdonia.

I'm thrilled you've been reading most of the books. That counts! I hope you can participate more with us here in 2020. :)

Hi! I'm Mich! Joining this group because the phrase "insecure writer" describes me perfectly.

I write historical fiction, World War 2 mainly but dabble in World War I as well.

My insecurities are multiple: fear of failure, fear of success, imposter syndrome, etc. (Whew!) I take comfort in knowing that I am not alone in any of these issues and am grateful for opportunities to join groups such as this to work through them.

It's great to have you with us Mich. We read some pretty cool books that help and inspire us in our writing. Have you looked into the blog hop or Facebook page? Those too, are great resources.

Taylor Hello all!

I’m more of an aspiring writer, so I haven’t actually published anything yet. I mainly write horror and paranormal fiction as well as poetry. My main insecurity is that I just don’t have the skill necessary to publish but I still have hope that with some hard work and growth, I will make it someday!

Aspiring writers (all writers) are welcome here. This is a good place to be. :) Publishing involves a lot, but with patience, research, and a little help from others, it can be done.

Welcome, Taylor! And all the best with your writing!

Jemima Pett | 5 comments Hi, I'm Jemima, author of the Princelings of the East books and also a scifi series that needs a third book written in 2021. I've been an Insecure Writer for a long time, too :)

I'm trying to get through my TBR as a matter of priority, but thought I'd join up for J Lenni Dorner's Writing Settings that Feel Like Characters. Should be fun!

Good luck on Book 3! And thank you for joining to read J Lenni Dorner's book. I hope you stick around and we have a book or two throughout 2021 that piques your interest. :)
