2 author profiles but same author

I was contacted by an author today asking for help. Unfortunately, I dont know how to fix this issue. Apparently, someone created another profile and added one of her books to it. Is there a way to get rid of the new profile somehow? The problem seemed to be that someone had added one of her books, but written the author's name wrong. I fixed the author name and now the book leads to the correct author page.

I'm not sure if the wrong author profile will disappear after a while or if something needs to be done with it. Anyone else know more? Edit: Nevermind, I checked the librarian manual and did as it said - edited the incorrect profile to match the name of the main author profile, and they should now be merged into just the main profile. The direct link to the incorrect profile in the comment above still works for some reason, though? But there are no books associated with it anymore.

the incorrect author profile has followers, so that should be merged with the correct author profile... since the correct one is GR Author, that need GR Staff to merge...
