Maybe. In general there is nothing about a craft book that doesn't work for the SRC, but this book might be a problem. The description says 60 patterns which means there is a substantial portion of the 144 page book that is not text. It also says " Readers can also learn how to create their own patterns from drawings and photographs." which means more of the book that is not text. If the description is not accurate please explain.

I tried to find my answer in the rules, but I couldn't seem to find it. For option 3 - a book published in a year ending in 9, does that mean the first publish date or is it the edition you actually read? I have a paperback published in 2009, but the hardcover edition was published 2008 and I'm wondering if this book will work.

This date is usually in parentheses following the edition's publication date.
Well, I guess I was up too late making my book list. I read that option so many times. I'm not sure how I missed FIRST, but by gosh I did. Thanks!

It takes place in Grant County, Georgia, but it's a fictional place.
All the other cities are real, though (Macon, Savannah, Atlanta, etc.)

Spring training is the official beginning of baseball season, and I LOVE baseball, not least because I can read while the game is on in the background.
This is a one book task. Choose one of the following options.
REQUIRED: Specify which option you are using.
Option 1: Read a book (fiction or non-fiction) about baseball or featuring a baseball player as a main character.
REQUIRED: If the baseball connection is not clear on the Goodreads main page, include a reference link or quote from the book to show that it works.
Option 2: My favorite team is the Atlanta Braves. Read a book where at least 50% of the action takes place in Georgia.
Option 3: There are nine players on the field, and the game takes nine innings (usually). Read a book FIRST published in a year ending with the number 9.
