Worldcat has 256. Amazon has 272. What's on page 239 and onward?
There are no further pages. 238 is the last numbered page of endnotes. The next page is "A note on the type", and blank back of that page, then the end page.
The books has 238 pages, plus 31 page introduction if you include that. Goodreads says 304 pgs. Thanks!
