MountainKat | 32089 comments Read this last night and of course I wanted it to be longer. I'll comment more when I'm not on my phone.

Fran | 12307 comments I read it this morning. It was so short! I didn't realize just how short. I liked it but I wish it were longer. And I don't know what 'Got your six' means :(
Is it a military term?

~KarenH~ | 11413 comments Yes, it's a military term, but getting to be more commonly known these days, I think...it basically means the same as "I've got your back".

MountainKat | 32089 comments Yes, that is what it means. I think it is getting more common too, or maybe I just live in a military town. It refers to location, like on a clock - 12 is straight ahead, 6 is behind you.

Fran | 12307 comments Thanks ladies! He used it in a way that sounded like 'we got your back' but I just wanted to be sure.

Fran | 12307 comments Any ideas for July?

I will be reading #First Impressions #Second Chances and Public Display of Everything next month. But I'm happy to read anything...July should be calmer for me, and I hope to spend some time by a pool or ocean reading!

~KarenH~ | 11413 comments I'm drawing a blank...the only m/m I have planned for the next month or so (on my M&G list) are all well into series and I can't imagine finding one where we're all at the same place. I looked back at the books that were suggested last month and not picked, and several of them look good, though - either the ones in this post: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... or Love Comes in Darkness, the sequel to the one we read in May. I'm good with just about anything, though!

message 9: by ~KarenH~, Moderator (new) - rated it 4 stars

~KarenH~ | 11413 comments Both of those you suggested look pretty good, Fran :-)

Fran | 12307 comments Out of that list I would be interested in Love You So Hard or Double Exposure.

MountainKat | 32089 comments I have nothing on my radar unless I go look at what Breann picked for in the June PIFM because I didn't get to anything that wasn't from my shelves. Of what has been suggested what interests me most is #First Impressions #Second Chances, Love Comes in Darkness or Love You So Hard. Any of those would be fine, or anything at all really!

message 12: by Fran, Moderator (new) - rated it 4 stars

Fran | 12307 comments How about #First Impressions #Second Chances and Love You So Hard. I think they are both short. Or either one.

message 13: by MountainKat, Moderator (new) - rated it 4 stars

MountainKat | 32089 comments Both work - I'm all for keeping GR off my back! It keeps wanting to nag me about being behind on my yearly challenge...
