March 2nd is “Read Across America Day” Since our members are from all over the world, we're calling it “Read Across the World Day”!! We did this thread the last couple of years and I think its fun to traditionally do it each year. You can share with us anytime this month it doesn't have to be on the actual day. I'm from Edgewood, WA (about halfway between Seattle and Tacoma)
I'm reading .
I normally read on a Kindle.
I like to read in our brown leather Costco recliner.
I get my books from Amazon, NetGalley, Overdrive, or Barnes and Noble.
I love contemporary romance, especially new adult.
I have too many favorites to list all, but I'll go with Ginger Scott to keep it simple.
All time favorite book would probably be .
The past couple of years I've read around 250 books a year. (I don't really watch much TV.)
Other fun reading facts...I have my own book blog called A Novel Glimpse (www.anovelglimpse.com). I met EL James and a bunch of other authors at a romance book signing in Seattle. She was a surprise visitor. So was Tarryn Fisher. I didn't get her to sign anything, but she was hanging with Claire Contreras when I went to have her sign my book.

I read both e-book and physically book but during the semester when in school I prefer e-books over actual books
I like to read in my bed with music or the tv on in the background
I get my book from amazon, most of the books I read I get because I like the cover then if I like the synopsis I'll get the book.
My favorite genres are romance and anything in young adult.
My favorite author is Tillie cole
No, I do not have an all time favorite book
I read about 2-3 hundred books a year, I don't have a life.
The fun reading fact is that I almost always read my book in one or two sitting I don't like reading and stopping I read non-stop until I finish the book.

Javona - I hate having to put a book down, but I never get to read a book in one sitting. I'm jealous!

I prefer my kindle! Nothing like downloading a book instantly and have access to it from all my devices including my phone.

I love waking up earlier than I need to in the morning so I can read in bed for a while. Otherwise I read on the couch.

Amazon Kindle and I love Kindle Unlimited.

YA Contemporary, M/M Romance and NA occasional thrillers/mysteries.

Colleen Hoover Amy HarmonN.R. Walker are my top three must reads, but I have a lot more.

Any other fun reading facts about you?
I don't have as much time as I would like to read, so when you purchase a Kindle book and they offer you audible for a reduced price of $1.99-3.99 I will add audible so I can go from reading the book to listening to it in the car or on a walk or when cooking and cleaning. I love how you can switch between kindle book and audible and it keeps your place!!!

E-book, except in summer months. Then I like physical books for their portability and durability (I take them to the pool, to the beach, to the river, camping, outside while my kids are playing, etc).

My all time favorite place to read is at the beach, but we only go like twice a year, so my next favorite place is outdoors anywhere (in nice weather of course)

Any other fun reading facts about you?
I love to try to instill the love of reading upon my two children (8 and 6). We read all the time and I am always buying them books, hoping that they will become a bookworm like me. My daughter (the 6 year old) loves to read too, but it's a little bit more of a struggle with my son (8 year old). Any recommendations for books a 2nd grade boy would like, would greatly be appreciated!

My son is in 2nd grade and is obbsessed with this whole series is hilarious!! Its an early chapter book but still simple and has lots of pictures!!

I prefer an actual book, but I love my e-reader. It makes it so much easier to bring along something to read on the way to work.

Curled up on my bed and when the weather is nice outside under a tree.

Wow Candyce I have to ask, why did you guys move to the Netherlands? Is that where you parents are originally from?

Sorry for the late response. My mother married a Dutch man (my stepfather) and after a few years with us in the States he wanted to go back and we went with him.
