Removing inaccurate (NY Times Best Sellers) list?

I would remove the books that should not be on the list. There does not appear to have been any changes to the origins of the list so it should be fine.
Once that is done you can request the list be made static by a super librarian
I've noticed that the following list is inaccurate, if not intentionally deceptive. The list purports to be the NY Times Non-Fiction Best Sellers 2015 yet many items were never on any such Best Sellers list. Multiple users have noted this discrepancy along with the high concentration of "Christian apologetics, Intelligent Design and creationist books," unrelated to any NY Times list.
I thought to remove such books, but then noted the disclaimer about the seriousness of removing books from lists. Librarians, what is the best way to correct this list? Delete individual books or the entire list?
For reference, the weekly NY Times lists can be found at the source here.
Thank you in advance for your guidance.
