C. Lloyd Preville (clpreville) | 737 comments Justin,

By the way, I liked how you snuck the reference of an AE35 unit into your story. I believe I remember this as designation for the failed antenna steering module that gave HAL9000 so much trouble in 2001 a Space Odyssey?

Hmmm?

Ps. A great explanation for the film may be viewed here:

Justin Sewall | 1244 comments Yes C, that is absolutely correct. But there was no fault, which then led to the possibility of a HAL 9000 computer making an error, which had never happened.

It was fun to slip that in. I was wondering if anyone would notice it, so, good job!!

C. Lloyd Preville (clpreville) | 737 comments Yes, but the only problem was the mouse they treated went postal and ripped open its cage, murdered three lab technicians, and broke into the refrigerator and ate all the cheese before they could corner it and smack it with a book.

They're researching to see if it was the drug, or perhaps the mouse was just really pissed off about something.

I think my ex-wife used to take this stuff...
: )

Justin Sewall | 1244 comments Maybe they treated it with gamma rays...

C. Lloyd Preville (clpreville) | 737 comments Too bad they didn't try to save it...

They could have used mouse-to-mouse resuscitation.

Interesting article. I really feel that life extension technologies are soon approaching where we´ll be able to roll back the clock several decades with treatments.

Hey C, maybe your ex-wife and my ex-wife should get together and have a party with this stuff. Might solve both our problems (jk :)

message 66: by C. (new)

C. Lloyd Preville (clpreville) | 737 comments I already solved that problem. In fact, I shed 300 pounds that year...

I bought out my partner and divorced the wife. : )

Guess the fox had run off with the rabbit so two meals already lost there...
