Seems like a perfect spot for reading deep, provocative literature, Brooke.

I think this should work for one of the two books.

Sorry, Bouchra, nice wording for a potential post, but unfortunately the chair doesn't have enough context, so this cover won't work.

Yes on Housekeeping, Heather.

I struggled with the bed because Mosquitoland and Ellen Foster show very little background and I greenlighted them. The final straw was the reflection in the water which is obviously not a real-time reflection of that woman in that bed at that moment. So, no on Famous last words. Sorry.

Of course I was discrete in my examination, Allison Ann, but I could discern a headboard behind her gentleman friend. Speaking of heat/cold, my town was 76F yesterday and will be 22F tomorrow--so my advice to the young lady is wear layers, always dress in layers. Happy climate-controlled reading!

Actually, Katie, I've been in the apartments of several single men and one female grad student that looked exactly like this, so if you read in the homes of interior-decorating-challenged friends, then this will work, truly sad.

I approved The Duke Is Mine because when my parents were between homes they actually stacked several mattresses in a pile and literally climbed into bed as they waited for multiple bedrooms. The Duke Is Mine (Fairy Tales, #3) by Eloisa James

And Maya's grass is a great place to read even when the ogre isn't there (which I suspect is 100% of the time).

We have sleeping porches in TN and, when I was a kid in NYC, people slept on fire-escapes. Unfortunately, gauze-draped canopy beds in fields seem to be unlikely in Michigan. Therefore, I'm so sorry, neither book will work.

Jonquil | 1059 comments JennRenee wrote: "Will these work for on bench outside. The Geek's Guide to Unrequited Love by Sarvenaz Tash and in the car Geekerella by Ashley Poston"

JennRenee- The beach bench works because the cover shows the requisite beachfront high-rises. If the foodtruck had picnic tables in front of it and the service window was up we could use this, unfortunately it shows someone driving past a woman looking at her phone while standing in the street--a good way to die reading.

Yes bench, no food truck.

Cat (cat_uk) | 3382 comments I was coming here to check that a car on cover was ok - there are plenty in the approved, so I'm happy I don't need mine specifically approved.

but.... the approved thread suggested a cover with cycling was ok? whaaat! how are you reading and cycling safely?!! headphones on a bike are a really really bad move. I can only assume that the reader is at the back of a tandem, doing very little actual cycling!

Very safety conscious, Catherine, and generous to assume they are being cautious. In Tennessee, our cyclists text while weaving in and out of traffic, and listening to their Ipod thru earbuds, perhaps we need to invite you here to teach a safety course. Enjoy your car book.

I am first, and always, a social worker, (we can't prevent ourselves from trying to help) so I looked at your TBR. Those book covers truly don't lend themselves to this task, do they?! However, if you read in any of these places you're set. park or countryside
