Starry About the ending, it seemed the same as last time. In the second book, they went to the prison to save the Reds. In the third book, there was the war. It happens that there's always a fight that ends the book.

Lord Momo, of the Momo Dynasty, Your Momoness Okay so I take it that most of you do not know about the existence of a fourth book-‘War Storm’. Victoria Aveyard also released a novella collection “Broken Throne” that primarily focuses on providing the readers with a satisfactory ending to the characters: Mare and Cal and of course their ship.

well I read the 4th book and I find it even more upsetting! The whole thing is a dump filler full of wholes and no ending. I personally wont spend more money for the novella.

A novella should be just that, a novella. Not clues towards an ending shes too much of a coward to write. Like pick a fucking ending! I clearly got upset.... yeah... no more, thank you

Mariam Eloui I was more pleased with the beginning of the series and I had higher hopes for it but it got a bit dark and I can understand that because of the war and its difficulties but the ending of this book showed how from the beginning Mare and Cal had different notions related not just to their relationship but also how they spoke about their purpose, their people, equality and the throne and how they can't meet mid way about things, so I didn't expect them to get together, although I think things between them could have gone better, and I felt that things got messy and confusing for me and them, but I found myself relating to them because of how they both suffered losses and betrayals, and it wasn't easy for either of them or for Maven for that matter, I had some closure about his character, but the mind manipulations don't justify what he's doing since he isn't stopping any time soon and I do believe that his mind-set will keep making things worse, I also found myself feeling detached from most characters at the end of the book as if the war had really changed them and taken its toll on them, I'm about to read the fourth book soon and I hope that things will add up.
