Mae nodded and ruffled her hair "I love you see you tomorrow ok?"
James smiled and dug in immediately "you are like the perfect wife! I love you so much...mm this is deadly!"
Liv made the little man shaped pancake and put berries and whip cream for a face and eyes

London laughed softly and nodded. "yeah, sure. Sounds good." She looked over at Torch and smiled. "Don't let her get too bored."
Torch chuckled. "I won't."
Emily smiled, shaking her head. She bit into her own piece, enjoying it. "I don't know about perfect... but I do my best." She grinned. "But I figured a couple extra calories wouldn't hurt anyone. You haven't got an ounce of fat on you. Its all muscle."
Crew climbed up on a stool so he could watch her bake, a grin plastered on his face for the whole process. It was thrilling to watch the little 'man' come to life.

MAe smiled up at Torch "I don't think ive been bored since you came back...and not just for the obvious reasons." she whispered and kissed his cheek "Love you."
JAmes laughed "You know that isn't true, I haven't exercised since Hopey was born. I'm getting some doughnut love!"
Liv smiled at him and put it on the plate "It's hot" she warned and smiled at her boy.

Torch sat on the bed beside her and smiled lightly. "Well that made my ego enflate a little." He joked, squeezing her hand.
Emily rolled her eyes. "As if a demon could even get fat." she laughed, shaking her head. "No way. You are like, the pristine version of perfect."
Crew grinned, thrilled to dig into the pancake. He poked it with his fork, and then his finger. A smile split his face and he immediately started eating. "Its so good!!!" He said between mouthfuls. He didn't seem to care too much about how hot it was.

Mae pecked his cheek and giggled "doesn't take much darling..."
James laughed and kissed her "you are just describing yourself baby...it's been a long time since we've had our time together."
Liv laughed and kissed his cheek "I'm glad...want some juice?"

Torch laughed easily then, his head tipping back a bit. "Touche." he said, wrapping his arms around her.
Emily smiled, leaning into him so she could kiss him again. "Flatterer." She teased. "but yes, it has been a long long time." She agreed.
Crew smiled and nodded eagerly, his cheeks currently stuffed with pancake. He was enjoying his breakfast immensely.

Mae laughed and nipped at his chest and lower "I just want to be with you...my big man..."
James smiled and ran his hands down her waist "Let's wait till Hope takes her evening meds..."
Liv smiled and began to clean the dishes, she looked out the window and it all looked grey. She didn't even feel like herself at all she wasn't a surgeon and she wasn't a sexy little number anymore...just a boring house wife and mom...

Torch grinned, kissing the top of her head as she worked her way down. His breathing picked up and he shook his head. "Mae... Is this so smart in the middle of the day?" he asked, his voice low.
Emily smiled softly, closing her eyes. She nodded in understanding, a soft sigh escaping her lips. "I'll... go put Hope down..." She whispered, reluctantly pulling away. "Come on baby girl, time for bed." She said, scooping Hope into her arms.
Dem worked hard all day, trying to get an income for his family so they could eat well and live happily. By the time he got home, he was worn out. He walked into the house and hid his exhaustion, smiling for Liv. "Hey honey. How was your day?"

Mae stopped and flushed "guess I lost control...I want to see Michael...and Zach, James...I miss my kids Torch..."
James smiked and kissed Hope "goodnight dumpling, I love you..."
Liv tried to hide her depression but it was getting bad "tried to clean up the house...but Crew wanted to watch movies...so I couldn't vacuum."

Torch sighed softly, nodding. He understood. He missed their kids too. "Well you're almost better Mae. You can leave here soon and go see them." He promised.
Hope smiled sleepily, blinking. "Luv you daddy." She mumbled, nearly falling asleep on her mothers shoulder as Emily carried her up to her bed and tucked her in, giving her a dose of her evening meds.
Dem frowned lightly. Why would something like that upset her? He was unaware of her depression. "Liv, darling, that's alright." He promised, wrapping her in a hug. "I'm just happy to see you again after a long day at work."

Mae smiled thinking about how wonderful it would be, to be home again to have family dinners and play with her little boy. She moved his hair back and smiled "you've been through a lot baby...when this is all over we'll pack our bags and just go...just the two of us..."
James followed and smiled at the little Angel all covered in tubes, he sighed and looked at Emily "she just seems like a normal little girl...why can't the doctors see she doesn't need all of this..."
Liv nodded and nuzzled him gently holding him close "I miss you when you're gone...Crew misses you...we don't need much Dem, just stay home...I've still got money in my savings..."

Torch smiled a little brighter then, nodding his approval. "Yes. That sounds lovely." he agreed, planting a small kiss on her forehead. He smoothed his hand over her bald head and smiled. "It'll be lovely to spend some time with you again.
Emily nodded, her expression sad. "She certainly doesn't deserve something like this. But I prefer having a sick daughter over not having one at all." She whispered. "I just wish she could get better." she said honestly, sighing softly.
Dem hugged her tightly against him, shaking his head. "I'm so sorry, Liv. I don't mean to be gone as long as I am. But we have such a meagre account... I'd hate to run low and have you and Crew suffer. Nothing means more to me than you two."

Mae smiled up at him retting her scarf she didn't like to be without it "I kind of want some hair before o go out in public..."
James sighed "what if a healer helps her? Like London?...she could eat on her own and be without all these invasive tubes..."
Liv sobbed hugging onto him "I can go work as a doctor...for the clinic, I just can't do...a lot. But I don't want you to work so much."

Torch smiled at her gently, kissing her knuckles with slow grace. "You are beautiful just as you are. But we can get you a wig while your hair grows if you'd rather." He offered.
Emily nodded slowly in thought. "We could ask London." She agreed. "I don't like to get my hopes up for nothing, but it's worth a shot." She offered softly, worried for their daughter.
Dem shook his head and kissed her gently over and over, showing her face in kisses. "Baby... I can provide, I promise I can. You already do your job with raising our son so wonderfully. I have to do my job too." He whispered, holding her close. "I can do it, but thank you. I'll try to cut down on shift times."

Mae sighed not sure what she wanted, she felt almost anxious leaving the hospital and going back to her life again. She nuzzled into his chest trying to focus on the present moment "I don't know what I want..." She paused re-thinking her statement "I want all of our family together...Slyver's too."
James nodded and pecked her cheek "you need to get some rest, those dark worry circles are coming back...I don't want you to get sick like you did at the hospital..." He nuzzled her and went to grab his phone calling his sister, she could re-build a new heart...why couldn't she give his daughter a fresh start on life.
Liv sighed cupping his face "the depression is back Demetri...I feel useless and worthless, everytime you come home late I get scared thinking you found someone...that can actually please you...it's irrational and stupid but it's real and painful...if it wasn't for Crew...I don't know what I would or wouldn't do..."

Torch's frown of worry quickly transformed into a smile. Now was a perfect time to have a family reunion. He hadn't seen Damon in a long time. And the kids... well. They needed to see eachother again too. He nodded his approval, kissing her forehead. "We can plan it the moment we get you home again." he promised. "You ready to go?"
Emily knew he was right. She did spend a lot of time worrying, but how could she not? This whole parenting thing was all rather new and intimidating. She wanted to do it right. She wanted to be a good wife and mother. But she was feeling a little tired.... so Emily went up stairs to retire in bed.
London was surprised to get a call, as not many people called her these days. She picked up the phone and answered it, leaning against the wall casually. "Hello?" She asked, curious as to who might be calling.
Demetri felt a sort of pain twist in his gut as if someone had punched him hard. He was the cause of this. No matter how hard he worked, he still hurt his wife. And hurt her in a way that try as he might, he couldn't fix. Demetri was very good at hiding his inner emotions however, so he kept down the sorrow he felt at not being able to protect her from himself, and he gently kissed her forehead. "I hate to know you suffer." he whispered, and this was true. "Is there anything I can do?"

Mae nodded grabbing her duffle bag and blanket the hospital had made for her. She shakily stood and balanced before smiling brightly at Torch "one step for man, one giant leap for our future." She said laughing lightly and waiting for her favorite nurse to check her out and say goodbye.
James smiked loving the brightness of his sister's voice "hey Loo! How have you been? How's that munchkin of yours?" Might as well have small talk before asking a huge favor. He was happy to talk to his sister and wished the family was close as it used to be, but since his mother got sick everyone seemed to fade away from eachother.
Liv shook her head knowing him all too well, he couldn't hide much from her "Demetri it isn't your fault...you take care of our family amazingly well, I don't know what I would do without you...I didn't want to tell you.,.but what if I lose it and I couldn't tell you..." She swallowed "I wish I wasn't such a burden on this family, on you...I wish something right would happen for once..."

Jude let out a soft laugh, his eyes not wavering from the girls. "Don't I know it." He moved then, so he was leaning against the back of the bed, alongside Ashlynn. This way he could wrap an arm around her shoulders and be closer to her. "You're going to be an amazing mother." He whispered in her ear.
Torch watched her carefully, ready to reach out and steady her at any second should she lose her ballance and topple over. He laughed softly, nodding. "You're quite the poet my dear." he said, walking them to the car. He opened the door for her, and put her bags in the back, before climbing in himself.
London nearly dropped the phone. "James!" She hadn't been expecting to hear from him. She hadn't talked with him in a very long time. "Oh man it's good to hear your voice. I've been crazy busy, but the kids are good. How's yours?" She asked. It was strange to say 'mine' and 'yours' instead of 'we' and 'ours' and it hurt a little bit. It felt like James didn't see her anymore, not unless he was asking for something. But she couldn't blame him. Things had been crazy recently.
Dem sighed softly, knowing she saw right through him. His shoulders fell. "I'm sorry Olivia." He whispered, rubbing a hand over the back of his neck. "I just feel like I can't win. Either I'm not here for you enough, or I'm not working enough to provide for our family. Its a catch 22." he let out a huff. "I wish I had a solution for all this. I wish I could help with your depression. I wish I was able to fix everything." he admitted.

Mae smirked "oh yeah me and Armstrong..." She hopped into the backseat stretching out snd sighing happily "you know, after all that...I don't want to take anything for grantite..."
James smiled but felt kind of guilty, kids? "So there's Vallee and? Sorry...I'm blanking out." That was his way for covering that he had no clue she had another kid which made him sad, they were connected at the hip and now didn't even see eachother on holidays! "Em and I would love to have you over for dinner."
Liv sighed and handed him a pamphlet "this is an institution for...trauma patients like me, my doctor recommended it on the last appointment...I don't want to burden you anymore, you can visit me whenever and it's free...no more outrageous medical bills..."

Torch smiled lightly, turning on the ignition and steering the car away from the hospital and down towards their place again. "I know I wont be taking anything for granted." He agreed. He had been way too close to losing her, it was frightening.
London's smile was a little sad, but she kept her voice cheery. "I was teasing, James. There's still only Vallee." She pushed off the wall and walked across the room, absentmindedly cleaning and fiddling with things, for she did little tasks when she was trying to hide an emotion. "I'm sure Mark would be ok with me dragging him over there." She said, her laugh dry. "As long as you don't murder him." It was teasing, but it lacked humor. "I miss you James." she sighed.
Dem's worried gaze sank into something close to sorrow. She wanted to leave. "I..." he mumbled, and then nodded. Of course this would be best for her. She could get help and there would be someone there who could care for her better than he could. What did he know about curing depression anyways? nothing. "I'll visit you every day." he whispered, giving her a weak smile. He hated this.

That sounds cool! But I am a little confused. Is he mentally unstable, or does he actually have two "sides" ?

Can you make the thread? It won't let me because I gave a false e-mail.

Sure! I won't be able to make it till I get home though. I'm on my phone right now :P
London giggled shyly and she nodded. "I suppose I just need to get used to it." The nurses came back in and London reluctantly stood, kissing her mother's forehead. "Get better soon, ok? I have to go now..."
Emily grinned, her cheeks turning slightly red. "It isn't that difficult." She said, cutting out slices for them all and handing it out. "Besides, I enjoy providing the best meals I can for my family."
((It is such a cute name :) )) Crew grinned, thrilled, and he nodded eagerly. "yes please!" he said, hopping up and running back to the counter. "Let's make a panacake!"
