Torch wrapped his arms around her and rested his chin lightly on her head. "We'll figure something out." He promised. Lexi nodded, huffing. "They could live with us for a while? In the basement?" She offered.
London hugged him tightly. "I'm glad it wasn't you. Because that did scare me."
Mae nodded "are you ok? Is it contained?" She looked up worriedly biting her lip.Damon frowned "Well the wheelchair...and the stairs..."
James sighed and held her "I'm really sorry..."
Torch nodded, wincing internally. "Yeah. Damon helped... contain me." He said softly. He hid the bitterness well. Lexi sighed. "Yeah... but he could fly in here, couldn't he?" She asked.
London nodded, kissing his cheek. "It's alright now."
Mae could read him easily and frowned "love...Damon was just trying to help, you could have done it I'm sure, if you weren't so stressed..."Damon nodded "I don't think Torch would allow me to help anymore...he thinks his pride is being affected..."
James flushed "aw sis...no kisses!"
Torch sighed, shaking his head. "It's not that..." He looked up at her slowly. "I um. I just wish I didn't have to be contained in the first place." He said softly. Lexi groaned. "What is with you two and pride? You guys are best friends. I'm sure he'd allow you to help." She said, getting up to put Taylor down to nap. "Is pride a demon thing or something?" She asked.
London grinned. "Why not? Too girly for you?"
Mae stroke his cheek "hey...you wouldn't be my Torch without your powers...you didn't hurt anyone and you can teach James...what if you didn't know how to handle it?" Damon shook his head "not only that, it's a guy thing for sure! Torch is...needs time alone from me."
James wiped it off "cooties,.."
Torch leaned into her hand, closing his eyes. "Not having it at all would be better." He said slowly. "Then James wouldn't have it and there wouldn't be this problem in the first place."Lexi sighed softly. "That's your decision I suppose." She said, walking back over to him. She reached up on her toes to kiss his cheek. "Walk in the park with me?" She suggested.
London laughed. "I've got cooties?" She shook her head. "I'm not the one with cooties!" She teased.
Mae kissed his lips and nodded "I know...love, but please don't put this all on your shoulders...you can't handle that stress no one can!"Damon nodded "I would love this!" He hooked his arm with hers "I need a normal walk!"
James shook his head "nope! I've been sterilized!"
Torch sighed softly, not sure how he could keep from blaming himself, but he nodded anyways. "I'll try not to." He promised her. Lexi smiled. "Great." She said, walking downstairs and outside with him. They walked across the street and into the park. She sighed happily, drinking in the earthy smells. Crickets were signing in the shadows where the moon didn't shine. "It's nice to get away once in a while." She said honestly.
London raised an eyebrow at him. "Sterilized? How so?"
Mae kissed him and pulled him to the couch and sat on his lap "I'm just glad both of you are safe..."Damon nodded and kissed her cheek and went over to the flower girl and buys her a Rose.
James chuckled "fire sterilizes right?"
Torch let her pull him ti the couch, and he held her there gently. "And im glad you're safe." He said gently. "Zach is sleeping?" He asked.Lexi flushed as she watched him buy her a rose. She hugged him tight. "You are just about the sweetest thing ever." She teased
London sighed, realizing he had a point. "I guess." She admitted. "But I dont have cooties either." She quickly added.
((I'd be fine with it! :) I don't know it well but I'll go with whatever!))Mae nodded and smiled "finally..." She said relieved and looked up "the twins are in our bed...where do you want to sleep?"
Damon shook his head "I'm a demon darling!" He bopped her nose with the Rose and handed it to her.
James nodded "I got rid of it!"
Torch smiled, kissing slowly down her jawline. "We can sleep right here. Together." He offered, smiling at her.Lexi laughed softly "that you are." She agreed, giggling when he hit her with the rose. She took it gently and smelled it exaggeratedly.
London smiled, relaxing a little. "Whew." She said.
((Absolutely amazing :) I like evil plans! Let's do Mae because otherwise you would be role playing with yourself! Plus they are the alpha women and would make the biggest impact!))Mae smiled and lay on his chest "that I like...tiny space cuddling for warmth" she mused almost dreamily.
Damon chuckled "I'm not a fan of the smell, it reminds me too much of funerals and truly I can never understand those...why burry a body when it has to come back up anyways?"
James chuckled and bounced on the bed "we could stay here since we don't have a room anymore..."
Torch smiled, wrapping his arms around her and hugging her close. "Exactly darling." He said softly. "I love you."Lexi laughed. "Well the humans dont think they come back up again. " she pointed out, chuckling. "But thank you, for the rose."
London nodded, jumping onto the bed. "Exactly. Such a nice big bed..." she said, flopping backwards on it.
((I think vamp would make the most sense with the plot and who they are anyways. Let's get everything right with the house and the family before we spring it.))Mae kissed down his jaw "I love you more..." She rested in the crook of his shoulder feeling her body slowly shut down and rest.
Damon nodded "above all that it is the symbol of love...you are welcome." He took her hand and kissed it smiling at her "you make a good guy bad...and a bad guy good..."
James yawned pulling off his converse and plopping lengthwise across the bed "mmmhmm" he responded and pulled half the blanket over him.
Torch smiled, closing his eyes. He let himself relax as they both fell asleep. Lexi laughed softly, blushing when he kissed her hand. She looked away for a moment before looking back at him again. He made her feel hopelessly in love. "And which one are you? May I ask?" She teased.
London didn't bother undressing, she just crawled beneath the covers and closed her eyes, swiftly falling asleep.
Damon smiled "it truly depends on the day and time..." He teased nipping at her cheek and poking her side "do you ever regret being found by me?..." He asked seriously.
Lexi laughed easily, grinning when he nipped at her. When he asked his last question, she grew serious. She turned to face him, her hands on his shoulders. "You found me broken, Damon. You are the only reason I am whole again."
Damon smiled softly but worried "but I still have damaged you...I haven't protected you like you need to be, I worry everyday if I'm right for you..."
Lexi smiled somewhat sadly, "Damon, you have helped me many times over. Your protection has saved me many more times than it has not." She assured him. "I couldn't bear to have any other." She said seriously. She reached up on tip toes quickly to kiss him, lingering softly before lowering herself back to her heals again, and turning to lead him back to the house.
Don felt some relief from that and kissed her softly taking her hand to head back "we should drop down and say goodnight to Dem..."
Lexi nodded. "Good idea." She agreed. "Though I doubt it is a good idea for me to go down there. It is a lot harder to keep up a fake demon appearance in hell. Someone would notice..." she said, rather regrettably. "Just tell him I love him, ok?" she asked.
Damon frowned but nodded kissing her head "I don't want to leave you alone..." The last time he did he still hadn't forgave himself for that.

((kk :) ))Lexi nodded, kissing his cheek. "I wont be alone this time. I'll go see Mae for company." She said. She grinned. "Go on." She encouraged. "I'll be fine. Go check on Dem. Please?"
Damon nodded and kissed her "I'm holding you to that!" He said seriously and nudged her before he headed down to Hell and to Dem's room "hey kiddo."
Lexi nodded, flying to Torch's house. She knocked on the door. "Hello?" She called in. "Can I steal Mae away for a little while? Damon's gone and I don't want to be alone..."Torch didn't wake up.
Dem smiled. "Dad!" He cried, running to him, hugging him tight.
Mae looked up and opened the door putting on her slippers "the house is asleep...let's go walking so we don't wake them up..." Damon held him tightly and grinned "hey just wanted to wish you goodnight...mom sends her love!"
Lexi brightened when she saw Mae and nodded eagerly. "Yeah sure! Sorry for waking you. I just... Damon went down to say goodnight to Dem and..." she shrugged, walking towards the park. The moon had gone behind a cloud. Dem smiled, not letting go of his father yet. "Thanks for coming." He said softly. "I'm having a great time down here, but I miss you guys."
Mae nodded "I wouldn't want you to ever be alone..." She glanced as it went completely dark, her eyes glowed and she could see but still..."Lex?..."Damon smiled "we miss you too buddy...Taylor is going to start crawling..."
Lexi shivered and moved a little closer to Mae. "Maybe we should head back..." She whispered, her eyes wide as she tried to see in the dark. A twig snapped nearby and she jerked in surprise. Dem's eyes widened. "Crawling!?" He asked. "Already?" He shook his head slowly. "And I'm missing it..." He said sadly.
Mae swallowed and held onto her "j-just a squirrel or raccoon..." She mumbled and slowly started walking back.Damon moved his hair back and smiled "I'll film everything for you kid..."
Lexi nodded, clinging to her arm like a frightened child. "R-right..." She whispered. Two red eyes appeared in the shadows, slowly drawing closer. A low chuckle erupted in the darkness. "Hello ladies." A distinctly male voice said. And then he was on Mae with inhumane speed, his fangs in her neck, the sedative in them already flowing into her blood stream. Lexi shrieked. Dem nodded slowly, biting his lip. "Thanks." He whispered. "And tell Mom and Taylor I love them." He said seriously. He missed his family terribly, even though he was loving it here.
Mae heard the chuckle and instantly placed herself in front of Lexi, suddenly she felt a pain shoot in her neck and down her spine, she gasped in pain her eyes closing as she moaned completely helpless.Damon nodded and kissed his head "you don't have to be here forever you know?"
Lexi screamed in shock and rage, leaping at whatever foul demon had a hold of Mae. She tore at him in a wild fury. The vampire let go of Mae, dropping her to the ground before springing on Lexi, attacking her with his fangs. Lexi was thrown to the ground. "Run!" she cried feebly to Mae. At least if she got away, maybe she could get help...
Dem nodded, sighing softly. "I know. But its better for everyone this way until I can control myself, right?"
Mae saw the world spin like a movie on fast forward, she crawled on the paved path losing a slipper and stumbled all the way back to the direction of home before collapsing at the doorstep with a thud.Damon sighed it was about time he told him anyways "right...you attacked mom Dem, your demon side that is...she got pretty hurt. This is for your protection...we love you more than anything." He promised hugging him again.
Torch jerked awake when he heard a loud thump outside. When he found that Mae was no longer asleep with him, he almost shouted in panic. He jerked up, running around the house to try and find her. Finally deciding to check outside, he opened the door and stopped dead. "Mae..." He whispered, his whole body trembling. Damon! He cried, frantic. Come right now! He dropped beside Mae, putting a shaking hand over her as he tried frantically to heal her. Dem paled. "I... I attacked Mom?" he asked, looking like he was going to be sick. "I'm so sorry..." He whispered.
Damon didn't hear the message of course because of the Hell and Earth thing. He stroke Dem's shaggy hair "it's ok...mom is fine, I did a lot of bad things too when I got my demon form and James just barely got his and burned half the house...it happens, just accidents we can't control..."
Torch closed his eyes and forced himself to focus, whispering 'please please please' as he did. His eyes started to glow as he slowly healed the wound in her neck, but he had no way of telling whatelse was wrong with her.Dem nodded, feeling a tiny bit better. "Ok." He agreed. "I dont feel so bad anymore." He said, hugging him once more. "Thanks for coming to say goodnight."
Damon nodded and tucked him in "I'll see you tomorrow" he promised and kissed his forehead softly. Once he was on the surface he got instantly attacked by Torch's words in his head and winced flying to the house 'not Lexi...not Lexi...' He begged until he stopped at the porch. Swearing he examined the holes in her neck that were reopening, the outside rim black and the inside dark red "it's not a myth..." He said astonished.
Torch frowned, rocking back on his heals, but his hand never left Mae's. It was easy to see that he was stressed out of his mind. "What myth?" He asked, his voice soft. He could only stare at the wound in Mae's neck, hisface pale with shock and fear.
Damon swallowed motioning for him to carry her inside, it wasn't safe they had marked their prey. He shut the door and the curtains watching Torch "vampiric demons..." He said reverently in fear.
Torch lifted Mae gingerly into his arms and carried her into the house, laying her down on tue couch gently. Little bits of him were breaking off inside because he had to see her this way. He jerked as though Damon's words had struck him. "So what does that mean for her?" He asked softly, almost not daring to voice the question.
Damon watched her carefully "I'm not sure...either she becomes one...or..." He pondered quietly "she'll be very ill...their bite has a sedative that flows through the bloodstream she'll wake up..." He ran a hand through his hair "it's a merciful" he nearly spat out the word "trait they have to calm their prey before feasting..." His stomach churned...what about Lexi?!
Torch nodded slowly, closing his eyes as he swallowed hard. How could this have happened? How could there be one of these monsters in their neighborhood? How could this have happened to his Mae? He bent over her, his head slumped in his hands. She would heal. It would just take time. That is what he told himself anyways.
Damon was now extremely panicked about Lexi, he knew without a doubt she was in trouble. He analyzed Mae for clues and caught onto the ripped up pj pants and missing slipper. A twisted Cinderella, find the slipper find the vamp. "I'm going to investigate, see what I can find!"
Torch nodded weakly, his only response. He was still shocked by Mae's state, shocked and horrified. He blamed himself entirely.The vampire crouched over Lexi's body in the forest still. There were three bloody bites in her side and arm, the fourth being the one the demon was using to feed from her. Though Lexi was sedated, she was not unconsious. Every few minutes she would whimper softly.
Damon flew in watching her "what can we do?...we need to do something..."
James sighed "it wasn't me...please I would never tell at anyone..."
