Torch growled in pain, his head was pounding from trying to fend the effects of the curse off. Not much longer... He wheezed, shaking his head again as the haze started to fog his mind.
Anne spotted a figure on the ground and she swooped down, crouching over Mae. Muttering an enchantment to heal her daughter, she started shaking her. "Mae. Mae? Are you alright?"

Torch relaxed a little when he saw her. Thank goodness you're alright. He thought, wincing again.

Damon frowned and watched her, it was like that had brought down a completely other girl...this wasn't Mae. He looked at Torch concerned and started to untie the ropes.

Anne frowned. "Maybe a memory spell would help." She said, murmuring the words for the right charm on her daughter.
((Have to go now. Will reply in the am. bye!))

Mae winced memories came at her quickly one after the other, like an attack she gripped her head and yelled loudly on her knees until the last one filtrated in and she stared at Torch "Torch...Damon what are you doing to him?!"

((have to go really soon :/))

((Aww :( ))

((sorry! really have to go now. :( bye))

((Goodnight!))

Damon cleared his throat "sorry to interrupt but Lexi isn't dead...she's very well."

Mae lay on their bed, the pillow practically sucking her in "dad you love her?..." She asked softly watching him.

Torch climbed into the bed with her, not minding that he barely had anything on. He sighed softly. "I did." He said honestly. "I can't lie about that. I gave my heart to her and she broke it. And now I've given mine to you."

Mae nodded and put her hand up to his chest feeling the heartbeat "I gave you mine..." She put his hand to her chest and nothing echoed back. "I was scared...I had forgotten everything..."

Torch nodded and smiled. "Thank you." He said, kissing her gently. "I know. I'm sorry. I tried to keep that from happening..."

Mae kissed him back and nuzzled in "if you leave me or we have a fight...I'll die..." She whispered understanding the seriousness of this.

Torch nodded. "I know, and your heart will break, killing me. We're stuck with each other." He said, chuckling softly. Then he grew more serious. "Listen, Mae... I have walls up... blocking memories of my past. I don't let anyone past those walls, which is another reason why I didn't want you in that study."

Mae sighed and nodded "I'm sorry..." She whispered again and ran a hand through her hair "I don't have any walls..."

Torch shook his head. "No. I'm the one who should be sorry. Me hiding that stuff is what hurt you." He said softly.

Mae stroke his cheek "I would have forgotten about the study if you hadn't locked yourself in...away from me when you lost your wings..."

((so how should she figure out his secret? :) ))
Torch winced. "I didn't want you to see me like that..." He whispered, looking down in shame.

Damon's face showed happiness but his eyes were clouded over in worry, would she still love him if she knew what he did who he once was?...
Mae rubbed his back and sighed "I'd still love you no matter what...but I don't like being shut out..."

Lexi took Demetri from Damon again once the child was done burping. She lay Demetri down beside her and curled up with him. "Time for a nap." She whispered.
Torch nodded and hugged her tightly, resting his face between her shoulder and head. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to shut you out. I won't do it again."

Damon smiled and wrapped up his son in his old baby blanket, his mother made it, it was practically a rag but it meant the world to him and now it was his sons.
Mae smiled and held him "I love you, you idiot..."

Lexi smiled up at him. "Was that yours?" She asked, referring to the blanket.
Torch chuckled softly and shook his head. He pulled away and looked into her eyes for a moment before kissing her gently. "Thank you."

Damon smiled and nodded "yeah...my mum made it...only thing I have left from her...it's kind of old but, it'll do for now till we get something nice..."
Mae pecked his nose and moved away to check on James, she sighed "I wish I could see London...like that magic mirror in Beauty and the Beast."

Lexi smiled and kissed his cheek. "It works just fine." She said, resting her hand against his cheek lovingly. She was touched that he would share something so special like that.
Torch smiled. "You can see her honey." He walked to the bathroom and filled a bowl with water. His eyes started to glow and shone down on the water. He carried it back to her. "Look in."

Damon nuzzled her and smiled "do you remember your family?...your mum?"
Mae leaned her head in and saw a beautiful place, like a palace and London was sleeping in a silk bed a woman stroking her hair. She pulled away quickly, why would she leave that to come back?

Lexi winced and nodded slowly. "I do. But they aren't happy memories." She said softly.
Torch watched her in worry. "Is she alright?" He asked when Mae pulled away.

Damon sighed and stroke her hair "I'm sorry...but I'm sure your mother loved you..."
Mae sighed and nodded "she's perfect...has a new mother..."

Lexi bit her lip then and cringed, shaking her head. "She didn't want me." She whispered, looking down at her hands which were clasped tightly in her lap.
Torch shook his head, gathering her into his arms. "She has one mother. And that is you." he said firmly.

Mae sniffed trying to believe that "I can't take care of her though..."

Torch shook his head. "No. You will care for her." He assured. "Once she turns eight."

Mae sighed "I don't know Torch...I just don't know...."

Lexi blushed softly and fidgeted shyly. "Oh there you go... making me blush." She whispered, looking up at him slowly.
Torch tipped her chin up to look at him. "Mae. Promise me that you wont worry." He said softly. "She will turn."

Damon kissed her "what can I say? I'm no angel..."
Mae sighed "I'll try not to worry...but I don't want to take her away from something so beautiful."

Lexi laughed softly, her blush growing. "No you aren't." She agreed.
Torch sighed softly, not sure what to say. "Even if she doesn't turn Mae, she will leave heaven to come to earth, and then we can see her."

Damon smiled and kissed her forehead "let's head to the hot tub..."
Mae sighed and smiled "she'll have to go to school, with James and I can't wait!"

Lexi' smile grew slowly, along with the heat in her face. "Alright." She agreed, standing.
Torch nodded and smiled. "Exactly!" He agreed. "They'll get to know each other well. I'm sure she'll remember that."
