Damon chuckled watching her "need anything else?" He played with her hair "feeling nauseous?"

Lexi put down the jar and lay back, closing her eyes. "no nausea yet, but I do feel dizzy..." She said, wincing a little.

Damon watched worriedly "just rest then..."

Torch shook his head. "Not that I know of." He assured, squeezing her hand gently.
Lexi nodded, swallowing slowly. "Yeah..." She said, taking slow deep breaths. "I might... I might need to get up though... and..." She shook her head.

Damon frowned "just tell me what I need to do...Lexi, I'm here to help...what do you need?"

Lexi opened her mouth to answer him, but slammed it shut again as she gagged. She stumbled off the bed and booked it to the washroom hurling into the toilet. "Nevermind." She choked, before throwing up again. "I do feel sick."

Damon rushed and held her hair back and rubbed her back "deep breaths baby..."

Lexi finished throwing up and leaned against the toilet seat, shaking weakly. "Trying." She whispered, her chest heaving as she tried to even her breathing.

Damon held her close and wiped a cold rag across her forehead and the back of her neck. He felt extreme worry and hoped that this was normal...

Lexi relaxed against him, trembling from the nausea. "I'm ok. It's normal." She promised, her voice shaking. She felt very weak.

Damon picked her up in his arms and carried her back to bed as he got her all tucked in.

Lexi closed her eyes and leaned her head on his chest as he carried her, and then moaned softly as she was put down. She immediately curled up with the blankets, eyes closed tight.

Damon rubbed her back and sighed worriedly "what can I do?..."

Lexi swallowed slowly and shook her head. "It's supposed to happen. I don't know if there is much you can do to stop it." She said honestly. "But some ginger-ale may help settle my stomach." She said, wincing.

Damon nodded "I'll get some saltine crackers too..." He quickly flew to the grocery store.

Lexi nodded and relaxed back on the pillows. "You are the most wonderful..." Could she call him a husband? Was he that to her yet? They hadn't really gotten married... but they bonded... sooo.... Lexi couldn't decide, so she just ended up giggling. "demon ever." She finished.

Damon got back with them and a fluffy teddy bear and presented them to her.

Lexi blushed. "Oh you shouldn't have." She said, grabbing the teddy bear and his hand at the same time and wrenching him in for a hug. "Thanks." She said, sighing happily.

Damon kissed her head "it can be the baby's too..."

Lexi grinned. "Of course." she agreed. "I'll just borrow it for three months." She grimaced. "Or however long it'll take the baby to get here."

Damon smiled and made the bear kiss her cheek and nuzzled her "love you..."

Lexi blushed smiled. "Love you more." She said. Then she sat up straighter. "Torch and Mae are here?" She asked, hearing a voice. Then her eyes got wide. "They don't know yet!" She exclaimed. "They don't know I'm pregnant!"

Damon grinned and helped her up carefully as they headed downstairs.

Lexi smiled at them both. "Very good." she said, looking at Mae. "I'm... well. I'm pregnant!"

Lexi smiled at them both. "Very good." she said, looking at Mae. "I'm... well. I'm pregnant!"

Damon smiled and then beelined straight for the treats.

Torch laughed. "You're right." He said, looking over at Damon who was already eating the desserts. He groaned. "Don't eat those in front of me man! I'm not supposed to have any. Mae's making some more for us tonight, but... oh gosh they look so good." He forced himself to look away.

Damon chuckled and handed Torch some "my treat, because you are my best mate..."

Torch grinned. "Thanks." he said, devouring the sweet chocolate in less than a minute. "Man that stuffs good." He said, licking his fingers. "So how have you and Lexi been doing?"

Damon chuckled "I'm going to be a dad...just taking care of my girl, she gave me her wings..."

Torch nodded slowly, and then stopped, looking up at him in surprise. "She gave you her wings?" he asked, biting his lip and shaking his head. "Sorry for making you guys lose them. And thank you. for passing yours onto me." He said sincerely.

Damon pAt his cheek "I'd do it everything mate...just don't do that again

Torch chuckled and nodded. "Yeah. I'll try not to." He agreed, shaking his head. "I swear the elders hate me..."

Damon shook his head "nah I think it's more Mae they don't likd...love of any kind is looked down upon."

Torch sighed softly and nodded. "Which I don't get. I thought they wanted to grow our numbers..." He shook his head.

Damon sighed "happiness is not a thing they understand, Anne and Lukas can't even admit their feelings."

Torch sighed. "If they did, that rule would have to be abolished. Two leaders cant be in love and still say its against the law." He said, hatching a plan. "Could we hook them up?"

Damon raised a brow "really? How so you plan on doing that?"

Torch ruffled his hair. "I don't know. But if they were in love, then we would be allowed to be. I guess just like you set anyone else up. We could get them to pretend to be dating to catch an extremely powerful angel or something." He threw his hands in the air. "Agk, ask Mae. She's smarter than me."

Damon chuckled "at least you admit that!"

Torch grinned. "I would say that even if she wasn't smarter than me. Don't want to get my head lobbed off you know."

Damon shook his head and grinned "probably a good idea! She would do it too! How's it like being a dad?"

Torch laughed in agreement. Then he smiled genuinely. "Great. Lots of work, but it is worth it. The little guys are definitely worth their trouble."

Damon chuckled and nodded "Any advice to give?"

Torch shrugged. "Mood swings get rough later in pregnancy, so be prepaired. And just well... be there. Help out. Thats all the advice I can give for now." He said, smiling.

Damon nodded grateful for the advice "what if I'm not a good dad Torch?...what if like Lexi the kid is scared of me?"
Lexi smiled, taking the jar and spoon. "Thanks a bunch." She said, twisting it open. She grabbed a generous clump and slowly started eating it, sighing as the craving died down.
