I am SO excited about seeing this movie this Thursday night! I can't wait to discuss it here with everyone and compare the book to it! :)
I saw this movie last night and it was awesome! I'm glad that the teen sarcasm and humor translated so well to the big screen, although I'm not sure everyone else "got it". For instance, I totally laughed very out loud to the part where Isaac is destroying Gus's trophies. And not just a little laugh - more like the kind of bursting out laugh that you try to hold back but once you let loose it's impossible to stop... and I was the only one laughing uncontrollably at that scene.... The Fault in Our Stars will be in theaters across the world June 5, so I expect many book-lovers would go to see it till the end of the month!
Hopefully, many of us will read the book beforehand. Those who have already read the book, may freely post their thoughts about the movie and compare it with the book. Beware of spoilers, though, for the sake of the moviegoers who haven't read the book yet but have seen the movie - they might wish to join the discussion too :)
