.
Instead of your moderators coming up with three "themes" for the group to vote on ... we invite YOU to nominate a theme for next month. Could be a specific genre, a cover image, a title word, an author initial...

ONE nomination per member
To encourage participation the person who nominated LAST month's winning theme cannot nominate this month. So, Patty, you won't be able to submit a nomination (though you WILL be able to vote).

Deadline: 25 Feb 17 (or 5 nominations, whichever comes first)

Once the nominations are closed, we'll set up a poll for membership to vote on the theme for next month.

We Have a Winner ...

NOMINATED THEMES:
Plants / flowers on cover (Connie)
Weather related word in title (Beverly)
About Civil Rights (Sushicat)
Features a single-parent family (Carol)

Set in Ireland (Olivermagnus)

Beverly (zippymom) | 385 comments March comes “In like a lion, out like a lamb.” So a book with any weather related word (or any variation) in the title. (i.e. stormy, storm, storming.).

Sushicat | 61 comments March is a graphic novel trilogy by John Lewis documenting the struggle for civil rights.
Read a book about some aspect of civil rights.

Clever! I've started to read it. Only Book One so far.

Carol | 4335 comments March 21 is Single Parent's Day. So read a book that features a one parent family.

Olivermagnus (lynda11282) St. Patrick's Day is March 17. How about a book set in Ireland?
