According to my check, everyone should have a pick. Did I miss someone accidentally?

*I will check for updated Bookshelf posts tomorrow.
Thanks.

message 113: by Jenn (new)

Jenn (tellingmelies) | 540 comments Finished Dictatorship of the Dress (Much "I Do" About Nothing, #1) by Jessica Topper by Jessica Topper. It was super cute and I'm glad I finally got around to reading it. I'm wavering between 3 and 4 stars right now

message 114: by Karen D (new)

Karen D | 111 comments Finished reading Dark Matter by Blake Crouch . It was really exciting, but very science-y, definitely not a book to think about why things are happening too hard!

message 115: by Penumbra (new)

Penumbra | 486 comments I finished A Different Class (1Night Stand, #203) by Leigh Ellwood . It's a very fast, easy read but I liked it. It would have been better if it was longer, but it was still enjoyable.

message 116: by Jenn (new)

Jenn (tellingmelies) | 540 comments Finished Someone Like You by Sarah Dessen . Very quick read. Had I read this when it first came out I may have felt more of a connection to it, but it seems that I've read other stories like this one for it to stand out. But I am glad I read it. I have been wanting to try Sarah Dessen for awhile now.

So finished my two picks for March! Now to see if I can get my hand on my bonus pick :)

I finished my first book, which was The Devil Crept In. I loved it! Really creepy and written so well. I was surprised at how well the ten year old main character came across. There were some good scares in the book too, a little gruesome-ness, and a neat ending.

message 118: by Runell (new)

Runell Hi, Marty! I finished Daughter of Smoke & Bone (Daughter of Smoke & Bone, #1) by Laini Taylor and I LOVED it. 5/5 for me. Thanks for choosing it and giving me the push to pick it up and read it. :)

⚜️XAR the Bookwyrm (xar-the-bookwyrm) Finished my first pick yesterday, Esther! I read So Right (Ribbon Ridge Love on the Vine #2) by Darcy Burke first this month. Sadly, I didn't enjoy it much, but I definitely needed to read it, so thank you for the push to do so!

I finished Sticks & Stones. These two make me ungodly nuts with their unwillingness to communicate. Any chance that gets better as the series goes along? I didn't love this one, but it was quite a bit better than book 1, so thanks for picking it, Ezi. I'm glad I forced myself to read it, and I will be reading book 3.

message 121: by Penumbra (new)

Penumbra | 486 comments Finished Getting off the Ground (Changing Plans Book 1) by L.A. Witt and it was good. Really good. I don't normally like first person pov, but the author did an amazing job. I plan on reading the next two books in the series.

message 122: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth | 489 comments Sunshine thinks for picking Through the Fire by Shawn Grady just finished ,give it 3 stars.

message 130: by Sunshine✰✰✰ (new)

Sunshine✰✰✰ | 687 comments Danielle Gypsy Soul picked Magic Strikes (Kate Daniels, #3) by Ilona Andrews . I am now totally obsessed with this series and have been trying to make every book work for challenges. :-D

Also picked was Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder (Hannah Swensen, #1) by Joanne Fluke . I never did get to this book, but it was picked for me again for April, so I better read it!

message 131: by Marty (new)

Marty (martymill) | 1299 comments I managed to finish one of my books for this month! A much better track record than the previous three.

I read my bonus book: The Chase by Clive Cussler . I've never read Cussler before and this was a nice surprise. It was a very fast moving thriller with a Sherlock Holmesian main character. I'm going to try the next in the Isaac Bell series.

Avid Reader and Geek Girl (avidreaderandgeekgirl) | 417 comments Jodi,

I started Archer's Voice by Mia Sheridan and will finish it next month, and come back to update.

message 133: by Karen ♐ (last edited Mar 28, 2017 12:22PM) (new)

Karen ♐ (kmk1214) | 2364 comments Nikk, finished both of my picks... Pinch Me (Suncoast Society, #6) by Tymber Dalton 3.5 stars, good but not as good as previous books in the series, IMO. Also finished Stirred Up (Stirred Up, #1) by S.E. Hall I loved it so much, I read the next book right away in the series.

message 134: by Jodi (new)

Jodi (jojolyn) | 673 comments I read both my picks this month.

Behind Her Eyes by Sarah Pinborough was suspenseful at first, then went a bit of tangent, for me. 3/7/17 **

Sleepless in Manhattan (From Manhattan with Love, #1) by Sarah Morgan was a good, heartfelt romance. 3/26/17 ****

Will not get to my bonus book.

City of Bones, Cassandra Clare – 3/4/17 – ✮✮✮✮✮

Animal Attraction (Animal Magnetism, #2) by Jill Shalvis Caged (Mastered, #4) by Lorelei James City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, #1) by Cassandra Clare

message 141: by Esther (new)

Esther | 60 comments I did read both my picks, though it did take a while...

The Magicians (The Magicians #1) by Lev Grossman really was a nihilistic take on Harry Potter for adults. Very interesting take! Glad to have seen what all the fuss is about.

The Bloodline Feud (The Merchant Princes, #1-2) by Charles Stross was an interesting introduction to Charles Stross. I liked the multi-world/time-travel blend.

Steelheart (Reckoners, #1) by Brandon Sanderson was recommended to me in April as well. I have now started it (at last!) and it seems quite intriguing...
