Hardware of the brain vs. Deep Learning

Folks, how plausible is the concept of brain hardware or BIOS to you?

I've been fascinated with the concept and did some research. But right now, Google and Facebook are reverse-engineering the language acquisition process into what's called Deep Learning and using it on Speech recognition etc.

I think if we dissect Deep Learning enough, the neural networks and the algorithms can have similar characteristics to a baby's brain (learning high-concept ideas from low-level stimuli).

Guess that means when the Deep Learning AIs get sophisticated enough we can try namshubs and hacking on them, which subsequently can be tried on humans! Muhahahaha.

Currently on Earth there is no more sophisticated computer than the human brain. So we have to look to the future, perhaps the attainment of quantum computing to a computer that will surpass that of our own wetware.

Given the ubiquity of the dumbing down of America in the name of Sending America's wealth upward, it's hard to imagine how we'd ever get to the point you postulate.

What would probably happen, if such "programming" should ever be possible, is either it will be the province of an underground movement, or the purview of of the oligarchy.

Snow Crash was a remarkable book, but I doubt it presages our actual future. However, the imagining of Stephenson's Cyberspace is a vision that a whole lot of people are hoping will come to pass.

Narantsogt Baatarkhuu Thank you, William. I appreciate your comment.

I don't understand how you mean my 'postulation' would not be achieved by 'the ubiquity of the dumbing
