Me too. I've had it since the beginning of January, so I need to get to it. I'm very curious, I haven't read anything by Starnes before.

I just read the introduction. I'm very curious to see where it goes. I hope that the focus remains on what individuals and families can do to improve society. Because it's important, no matter political or religious beliefs, to know your own opinions and your own mind.

Hopefully I'll be able to read more later on.

I read the first two chapters. I'm finding this really interesting and informative. I really want to start researching some of the issues discussed as well as the history.

This isn't what I was expecting, but so far that's a good thing. I don't really know what I was expecting, honestly.

Just finished chapter 5. I definitely think being involved in school is important. These people have a lot of influence on children, so knowing what they're teaching is important.

Just finished the introduction and I'm loving the book so far. I've got six highlights already. lol

I'm 35%. I haven't highlighted anything yet...but I might go back and highlight the part where the marching band that was banned from playing "How Great Thou Art" followed that banning and instead played "Amazing Grace". I loved this quote from there:
"If Americans United wants to ban "Amazing Grace," so be it. There are plenty of songs in the hymnal, such as "All Hail The Power of Jesus' Name" and "When the Roll is Called Up Yonder". 26% (boldness added mine;))

I don't agree with mocking leftists, but that's my personal opinion. You should challenge the things you don't agree with, but I don't think mocking anyone is the way to go. (hide spoiler)]
