For my first mystery of the month, I downloaded one from Hoopla that is not even on my TBR. It's the first in the Coffeehouse mystery series by Cleo Coyle called On What Grounds (on audio).

This book is fine for this challenge. It is ANY series book, it doesn't matter what number in the series.

Sounds right down my alley ^-^ I'll go add the first book in the series to my To Read list. Thanks Leonard!

I've got this one sitting next to my bed currently. I pulled it from my shelf to read a few months ago, but never got to it. I made the mistake years ago of picking up one from the middle of the series and I was so lost because I didn't know it was from a series at the time! I hope to get to at least this one some time this year as I have been collecting the series for a bit now.

Good to know! This is probably my Mom's favorite series right now. She's up to date with the releases. I want to re-start this series this year. Never got past the first book, but that was because the series just started when I read Naked in Death.

I'm pretty sure I have the first book in this series in my library. I'll need to go look for it.
I pretty much always take long breaks between books in series because I don't want to burn out on the series for one, and two I have soooo many series going at one time! I also get distracted. Like I'll intend on reading a next book in a series I'm working on and oh look at that series that I want to start! LOL I'm horrible. That's why my To Read list is miles long!

I read Bubbles Unbound for this challenge and it is a prior selection of #Book1CoziesClub
I enjoyed it but there were things that bothered me. There are references that date the book as well. For more of my thoughts, please see my review here
