They are calling it a monster book. Some would call it YA or NA. It was originally self-published and Wordfire changed it a bit, republished it and are in the process of getting book 2 out.

We have some threads under the "pay it forward" and the "opportunities" sections with some reviewers. Not sure if they are still accepting books, but check it out and keep an eye on them for new opportunities. :)

Hi Helen, welcome to the group. I got most of my reviews by writing to top reviewers on Amazon. I would look up the genres they liked and ask if they'd like a copy of the book.

Another way is to send it out to blogs that feature you genre. There are thousands of them. I am trying to get reviews now for my son's release. I am compiling a list of reviewers and bloggers, as well as asking on Facebook for reviewers. I picked up ten interested people today.

I actually found a copy at my library. I will be sure to grab a Kindle copy so I can leave a verified purchase review. Great book and it has something for everyone; whether you are starting out or have been at this a little while. If you haven't read it go get a copy! :)

I am 68 and just published my first book, which is a story I was gobsmacked into writing. Not sure what is next. It is tough for me to promote myself, I am such a private person. Keep up the good work Alex! Hopefully the US will start picking up for you soon. Right now, all the kids are going back or getting ready to go back to school. In a few weeks people should be done with vacations and settling into their new routines. I think October is a good month to aim for.
