I have been searching high and low in libraries for a book. From what I remember it has a boy and a girl going through these different worlds I believe. What sticks out most to me is that The characters little brother is named Charles and they are looking for him, at one point is possessed by something, I remember at one point there are beasts that take care of the main character. I have a feeling the genre is fantasy I think but I can not for the life of me remember what the title is if anyone has an idea on this that would be most helpful.
