So this girl is dating this guy and i think it was for her birthday they went out onto a boat together and then he takes her to the faerie world where she finds she is a lost princess. She isnt really happy there and she is betrothed to a guy she doesnt really like i think. She still kind of has feelings for the guy who takes her to the faerie universe. One of her sisters is confined to this one part of the castle and she wont leave. The mother is lost and I think she is in our universe and at the end the main girl goes back to the universe to find her mother. It is a series but this is the first one in it. I read it like 1 or 2 years ago
