What did people think of the ending of the book? And further, do you think that Teddy was aware of what was happening at the end?
What did people think of the ending of the book? And further, do you think that Teddy was aware of what was happening at the end?
I think that Teddy was aware, and didn't want to live with the knowledge of what had happened. I think the ending is a lot more complex than what is given at face value. As a side note, I also just saw the movie, and it's amazing how similar the movie is to the book. There are few films that stay so close to the original novel.
