You're going to love it.

Sam (Sam_W) | 16 comments I've already hoovered up about 150 pages of it. Sometimes insomnia can be a positive thing, lol

message 53: by Anna (new)

Anna (vegfic) I'm making my way through The Sandman and reading some short stories from Uncanny and Lightspeed. I have many books I'd like to start, but I want to read Sandman first, so I can return them to the library. I decided at some point maybe a week or more into February, that I want to read 28 graphic novels/trades this month. I haven't read any graphic novels in about 15 years, so I don't know how smart an idea this was, but I'm at 16/28, so not too far behind.

Lol. I read Sandman in comic form as they were published.

Anna (vegfic) Yeah I started with single issues way back when, but I never finished so it was finally time to do something about that. I'm a bit scared, since I just finished my reread of The Books of Magic (the original by Neil Gaiman and volumes 1-7 by John Ney Rieber) which I completely LOVED when I first read them, and now they weren't nearly as good. Maybe that's why Sandman volume 2 is still sitting here unopened.

Joseph | 1651 comments Finished Ninefox Gambit, which was kind of amazing, and am actually reading one of the anthologies I've backed on Kickstarter, Women in Practical Armor.

I'm next in line for Howl's Moving Castle. From your review it looks like one to look forward to. You'll enjoy Hobb's Farseer books...very well written and some of my favorites.

Of the Kay books I have read this was my favorite.

Joseph | 1651 comments Finished Women in Practical Armor, which had some great stories in it, and started Naamah's Blessing because I figured it was finally time to wrap up Jacqueline Carey's final Kushiel trilogy. (It's one of my "finish an unfinished series" challenge books ...)

That's great to hear Ctgt.

Sam (Sam_W) | 16 comments Finished The Name of the Wind and yes, I did love it (though there were a couple of sections that dragged a bit). So now on to The Wise Man's Fear. That should keep me going for a couple of weeks....

message 65: by Janette (new)

Janette | 211 comments I enjoyed both of them but there appears to be no sign of a third book. Sigh........
