I absolutely LOVE lauren oliver

I just started this city of heavenly fire.. this 700 pager is a little daunting though as the rest of the books have been in the 3-400 page range!!

I finished CoHF last week. I usually read books that are also about 400-500pages long,but it won't be that daunting once you read on. It engages the reader very well.

It's about a genetic scientist who starts the Wife Project where he tries to find a suitable companion to spend his life with. He has high expectations which makes it hard for him. Then, he meets a woman named Rosie who needs his help to find her biological father. She doesn't have the qualities he's looking for in a wife so he immediately crosses her off as a potential candidate for the Wife Project. He befriends her and they spend more time together.
I'm trying not to spoil anything. :) It's really interesting and the main character doesn't understand social norms. Honestly, he reminds me of Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory.
