Anyone can do what I am doing. If you head over to the group, you can watch. You don't have to participate. Some prizes are big, but we are getting lots of interactions on the posts without giveaways too. When I have a party, I push to get some interaction from readers. Get them to share posts, or give some incentive to buy the book. Sometimes, I have had a flop when I scheduled on a day when most people were obviously busy. It helps when people know about something in advance. I put teasers out early and ask when a good time would be to get together. There are a lot of authors that do takeovers on this group (Awesome Reading Marathoners) and if you follow the group, you can see how others do things. It should always be fun. If not, end it, plan another and try again :) Never give up!
