Members are requested to nominate one book and second others' nomination. If we get too many nominations, seconded books and early nominations will be preferred. If your nomination wins, you will be expected to read the book and lead the discussion.

HeyLucindaO! (heylucinda) I had a look at some reviews online and its sounds like something I would enjoy. I second The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri. Already placed my hold at the library on both e-book and regular book.. lol ;).
I hope it lives up to my expectations...eek!

HeyLucindaO! (heylucinda) I didn't wait for the poll... sorry...just got stuck into The Namesake... I will try and restrain myself from saying anything about it until it's time to do so (assuming that it might just be the winner

Ha ha ha :D
No worries :) Do join in the discussions. (Provided it wins which looks very much probable)

message 27: by HeyLucindaO! (new)

HeyLucindaO! (heylucinda) ...Polls suggest it's a battle between 'Into the wild' and the 'Namesake'... Drama! :)

PS: When is the cut off date?

message 28: by Gorab (new)

Gorab (itsgorab) | 3110 comments 23rd Feb. Thought this time there would be a clear winner but I was wrong. I love dramas :P

message 29: by HeyLucindaO! (new)

HeyLucindaO! (heylucinda) Only three more days to go (at least in New Zealand) before we know what the March read is!

Yeah, and if I'm not wrong then it would be the first Indian book to win the BOTM title ;)

message 32: by HeyLucindaO! (new)

HeyLucindaO! (heylucinda) Yes... looks like a win for The Namesake so far!
