Finished this a couple weeks ago. I have no other experience with Jim Butcher, but this one is definitely worth the time.

It's a great book. I'm particularly fond of his giving a reason for why two newcomers are assigned an important task, and a good reason for it.

Mind you, I could have down without the cliched rebellious daughter opening. . . .

Have read two of his Dresden Files books before and enjoyed them, but this book is much better. Nearly finished with it and I'm very much enjoying the ride.
