I'd love to see him do a full length novel with Joe Hill. They've done a couple of short stories together, but the potential...

I bet that would be interesting.

I have never read Irving. I will check out some of his stuff.
I would have loved to see King do a collaboration with Elmore Leonard. Can't happen now, but that could have been great. I could see a Western with the two of them writing together.

Anansi Boys but I like them all. He is so eclectic, like King.

I suspect Joe Hill avoids too much collaboration with SK so he's not too much in his father's shadow.
I haven't had a chance to read any of Hill's books yet, but they're on my list.


Part of why I like The Talisman, Black House and A Face in the Crowd is that Peter Straub and Stewart O'Nan normally have very different styles, so a collaboration has a fresh feel to it.

I haven't had a chance to read Joe Hill yet either. I have been looking for his books at our local used book store and haven't had any luck. I will probably have to break down and by them from Amazon.

They seem to be very tricky to come across secondhand (I guess people like them too much) I managed to find one at my local library, have you thought about trying there? (Until you can buy them of course)

I say Gillian Flynn, she writes some pretty disturbing, dark stuff and I think their book child would be pretty twisted. What say you?
