A different topic, I know, but I have this book https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... and it shows an old cover on the front page - is it possible to show the new cover on the front page?

Librarians can't do that. As the author, you have the ability to change which edition of the book is the default, which will come up in searches by title and show on your author profile.
How to set the default edition.
