I finished for Yellow 6....it was our last color card. I do still plan on reading but I prefer to do nonfiction when I have more time because I do read them slower.

As a team we need to average not quite 4 books a day to complete the whole mini-challenge. I have compiled a list of pretty short books (other than A Man Called Ove and One Plus One) so hopefully I can get through more books than normal. I'm going to the library tonight to pick up my real books and I already have my e- and audiobooks loaded. Also the BF will be gone for the second week of the mini-challenge so I won't have to participate in RL too much...heehee!!

Actually, I've been wanting to re-read the Harry Potter books this year so maybe I'll read the first one as that should work for part 3 and be a quick read?

I think they are just over 150 pages and are real quick & (IMO) entertaining reads!

Those are great books! And it would fill our last Reverse card! As far as for the mini one would work for Part 1 and the others we can use for Scrabble.

Honestly it was a pleasant surprise. I think I just picked it up today from Audible's daily deal for $1.95. It's only a 5 hour audio so felt like it was time well spent, especially for under $2. It was a real quick read that I liked - but just didn't feel like there was anything about it that made it stand out more than some others.

Not to mention I'm listening to my audio's at about 2x the speed at the moment for quantities sake...

I can only sometimes do 2x (and 2.5x) - it depends on the narrator and the book... and sometimes the challenges. LOL! My preference is to listen to them at 1.5x though.

Yes! The daily deal is one of the first things I check out in the morning. HA! I think you can sign up for an email with that info if you want.

The other thing I do is get kindle offers through BookBub where you can get books for usually less than $3. Then every week I'll run the "add narration" app on Amazon to see how much the narration is to add on to the cheap books. If I can get those for $1-$2, I'm a happy camper!
