or are we set to cover that last #2 and the wilds?

or are we set to cover that last #2 and the wilds?"
If you can squeeze one in, that would be great. More wouldn't harm, I guess. I know Elena, Plethora are reading currently, I am trying to squeeze one in too, but we need 4 more books to complete all our hands (3 wilds, 1 two).

Was out most of weekend, have things most nights this week and the weekend is again filled.

(this is one of the two mentioned in the previous message)

I really hope we get our final 4 done! By the way any books started in Feb and finished after deadline can count towards March, which is great given there's an extra hand added, so if anyone wants to start reading but not sure they'll be done in time, start away! :)
And please make sure all books read in February have been added to your UNO shelves, dated and marked read. Thank you!

Do let me know, if I missed any of your books, and I will check if I can fit them in the Valentine's Task 1 (Part 3).

Sadly we're one team member short - Denise couldn't continue and asked to be taken out of the challenge. Best of luck, Denise, and hope you get to play next time!
A fresh tab has been added to our planning sheet, please use it to record your March reading. I did my best to move books over and I'm very sorry if something got lost in transaction.
Things are a bit different this month - in addition to an extra hand we have a new task (copied from challenge info) -
As UNO number cards are coloured Blue, Green, Red and Yellow, we have added eight new cards to each team that have a colour attached. So, for example, rather than receiving card "7", you may see it says " 7 Green". This means you need to find a book that not only matches the criteria for 7, but also has a colour cover of green (the cover should be more than 50% green - use this colour extrator tool to determine colours if you are unsure).
Apoorv listed our cover tasks here. Please keep an eye out for ones we need and if in doubt or colors are debatable, let us know and one of us will check it or run it by the mods.

this Color Extractions says the cover of my Harry Potter book is 61.9 % Atomic (Blue).
So I have to find something to fit also in the number 1? Hory Sheet!

I'll try to finish

It seems the toughest color task for us to find would be yellow 5. Does anyone have a book in mind for this one?

What about this one? I'm going to try to use this Tin Eye thing but I've had problems with it in the past.
ETA: it says it's only 35.7% yellow but dangit, it looks yellow!!

Nope. you lucked out on that one. LOL

It's 91% yellow on TinEye AND it starts with "I". Woot, woot!!

Perfect, I'll read it tonight and that way it'll be out of the way!

A Pale View of Hills by Kazuo Ishiguro

Interestingly enough, the cover of this book is considered a 86.6% Green (Golden Fizz to be precise with a Base of Green), per this tiny eye thingy, wonder how it can see with that!

It looks like we're well on the way to finish Part 1.2 of the mini challenge! Go team!!
Countdown to the end of February reading and automatic start of March. About two and a half days to go and 10 books left to fill out all our hands if I did my math right. Can we do it?! :)
And speaking of March, looks like mods are turning things up a notch next month, more here. :)
