I just checked
, because I wasn't sure, but the main character does dance with someone, that could count for- Read a book where the characters dance
I started the book on 16 April so this could be used in the mini challenge as well.
- I am not sure about this one either, but if it qualifies as "read a book with a statue on the cover" or maybe as a "book with a grey cover" I could try to squeeze it in as well.... According to TinEye it's 50.8 % grey.
Is this enough Australian animal on the cover:
? If yes, I could do a quick re-read as it is not too long and a good one? :)
Does working in a pub count as part of the food industry? :)If yes, I am planning to read
], where the MC works in the eponymous pub.
Avamuc wrote: "Is this enough Australian animal on the cover:

- Read a book with over 10 000 reviewsI can't promise it but I would have
at home for this task which has 20,406 reviews or
with 20,079 reviews.
I've finished The Shadow Over Innsmouth.Set in the small town of Innsmouth.
For Uno:
0 - standalone
2 - title

5 - P: Innsmouth

I'm thinking of rereading The Hunger Games, which would work for character is a President: President Snow. Also, if no-one borrows it before I can get it from the library, I could read The Bees for character is an animal - all the characters are bees.
I should have saved my 6 Red until now, it was set in Australia! Oh well. :(
Melindam wrote: "MH, could this cover count as "with garden"?
It is a small one, I know. :)"
Maybe? I will double check with the captain's group about that one.

Phu. I think I've gotten the spreadsheet all updated now!Awesome job everyone at finding books for the tasks!
UPDATEWe're down another member :( Lil Book Harpy decided to leave the challenge, but I hope the rest of us can keep on and finish the last month!
Now we only need 43 more books! We are making progress, just a little bit slower than last month.
I hope everyone had a good, relaxing Easter weekend. I had family visiting, so not much time to read but now I will try and find some shorter books to help get our numbers up.
MH! I may not be able to finish all, I realised it is quite a lot. I will leave HP/Soulless to the end and will let you know if I can't tackle them any more

Hi everyone! Sorry for being so late in joining, I had no idea you were all so close to the end when I signed up. But anything I read this month counts for the Easter Egg Hunt and our April hand? Also I'm a little unsure of what books are still needed for April so I'm just gonna put everything I think works...What is Not Yours is Not Yours:
What is Not Yours is Not Yours
card 1 - author surname starts with O
card 3 - author name starts with H
(card 9 - this is a book of short stories and there are 9 stories. I doubt this counts, but I thought I'd put it)
*This book probably fits more cause I can't remember all the character names (there's a lot of them) but I'll go back to the library and have a look through and see if any match up.
