Thinking about this has taught me that being on the needy side is a great humbler and leveler. Suddenly Will though he still had the money, had some influence, he had needs that were not something he was used to. The family had other caregiver some in the past, but were not a good fit for them. Clark seemed to have initiative and drive that Will was used to, and that to me seemed to make a difference. When Will met her family and Patrick, they could tell he was a "someone" at some point in their lives. He exudes his influence.
