Would Patrick have asked Louisa to move in with him if he hadn't felt threatened by Will? If Louisa had never accepted her job with the Traynors, where do you think her relationship with Patrick would have gone?

[Carol]

I didn't like Patrick at all. He was very transparent, self-centered and absorbed. I was surprised that they had been together that long. For Louisa's sake, was glad there was a "change" for her, so that she could see there are other options out there. I don't think their relationship would have progressed if no change.
