Have you read any other books by E. Nesbit (Edith Nesbit)? Some are fantasy adventures, some are more real life, like the Railway Children.

I see you have some Enid Blyton on your shelves. If you're thinking about reading any more of her books, you might want to try the 'Adventure' series, starting with The Island of Adventure. I liked those best of her books when I was growing up.

I loved this book too, and am thinking of reading other Edith Nesbit books. I have her book, The Enchanted Castle, but I gave it up before. Don't remember why.
