Trying to find a story I read.

I read a dystopian short story and I only remember vague details. I'm hoping you guys can help me find it because I'd like to re-read it.

So it's set in a large city (London, maybe?) and the main characters are a hetero couple who I think are both journalists. I think there's a flood which causes them to flee to their country home. The man has to row up the coast because the woman has already left. In the end the woman has been stockpiling food under the garden or from the garden so they have food.

That's all I remember. Can you help?

I think it was in a book. Probably at least 3 years ago.

Do you remember any of the other stories withing the book. Were they from the same author, was there a theme to the book.
Do you remember anything from the cover.
Do you think it was published recently or was it an old book?

I could have swore it was in Brave New Worlds, but I just looked at the stories in there and it doesn't look like it's listed, so now I'm stumped.

So the people from the "What's the name of that book???" board thought it was either The Kraken Wakes or After the Rain. After the Rain seems to be the most likely candidate.

Found it for sure: Out of the Deeps. I guess it was more Sci-Fi than dystopian after all.
