We're both super big on enemies to lovers, but this is one of the first books where they've BEEN enemies and it actually feels authentic. Like, their history feels natural and I'm not mad I missed seeing it. It also helps that Lucy starts it off with a game and that gives an understanding of the stakes right off the bat.

Ugh I just, a million Sally books, please.

I’ve had great fun going back through some of the older comments, and it’s interesting to see which parts get us irritated. On the whole, it’s not without flaws but definitely entertaining. Massiel, I can’t wait to see your thoughts on it (and sorry for rushing on ahead). Now time to get on with the other shared BRs we've signed up for.

(view spoiler)[The beginning was a bit slows but it picks up towards the end. It was very obvious from the beginning that Lucy and Josh would end up together. It was a little annoying the number of times they commented on Lucy's height. It was so cute when he painted his room to match the color of her eyes. The wedding and breakfast scenes were the best parts of the book. (hide spoiler)]

Finished - so sorry for not updating while reading.
(view spoiler)[I literally read this all day yesterday until 1am. I was trying to prolong the inevitable, but my fiance was begging me to turn off the light. In the beginning of the book, I like to think they are aggressively flirting, but Lucy was too naive to notice because he never smiled at her. I did NOT know there were going to be so many steamy scenes, but it helped to grow the anticipation. At the end, it was great that Lucy told Arthur off, but sad that Josh quit his job and we don’t know if Lucy ever got the promotion. Can there somehow be a sequel?! I just need more of them!
